The creature had its mouth spread wide open, and a slowly shrinking ball of whitish blue light floated within it. It had originally been the size of the creature's head, but now it could easily fit within the monster's maw. With a clash, the dragon's jaws closed, and swallowed the light.

Its armor suddenly blazed with red cracks, its eyes glowing with power.

"Oh my God,"

Mr. Morgan breathed, barely believing what he was seeing.

"it absorbed the entire shot!?"

Tsikl was in an entirely different state than his mentor. He appeared to be in a state of calm and acceptance. But the Hunter pointed a shaking claw at the snarling dragon.

"I-i believe you are indeed what the people have sought after, and as such I will try not to kill you."

The boy spoke in a dark, slightly wavering voice as the robot he was in narrowed its eyes.

"B-but if you disappoint me, your life is forfeit!"

The still glowing dragon, somehow understanding the boy's intentions, roared a challenge. Then it reared its neck back, as if it was about to lunge like a snake. Mr. Morgan fairly went bug eyed as the monster's body did something incredible. A pulse originated from its chest, traveling up its body, into its throat. Then the creature's throat began to blazed with a ball of red light traveling up it, heading for its head.

"Tsikl,"

Morgan said hurriedly.

"I don't like the look of this."

The boy stayed immobile, only whispering:

"I-interesting."

Then the dragon's mouth reopened, and this time a red orb hung there, slowly getting larger.

"Tsikl! It's going to fire! Don't just sit there, Move!"

Morgan yelled, probably without thinking his thoughts through. He knew the boy could dodge almost anything if he wanted to, however the man was unnerved by the fact that the creature had absorbed the shot and was about to return it. It also didn't help that Tsikl seemed to have expected the whole thing, or at least part of it, and was now just sitting there staring at the monster.

"Mr. Morgan, t-this is not your fight!"

Responded the boy in a desperate tone as the orb grew to maximum diameter. Then the beast unexpectedly swallowed the mass of charged energy as it took a deep breath, and as a result, the ground cracked and shook beneath its charged power. Once again stretching its maw as wide as possible the dragon released the amassed energy in one large titanic blast, coupled with a frightening almost demonic roar.

As the beam closed in on the Охотник, the robotic feline leapt higher into the air and strained to get above the blast, activated an energy shield before the beam could strike it, the blast getting larger as it traveled. As blast hit the shield, The Hunter was rocketed away into an unassuming warehouse in the vicinity due to the explosion, while the DJ tried futilely to escape the reflected shot as well as the original, without possessing the ability to put up a shield, and lost an arm because of it.

"Do you know how long it'll take to have that repaired?!"

Yelled an irate Mr. Morgan as he crashed to the ground with oil and sparks flying out of his right shoulder. His systems temporarily going dark due to the energy overload. Reacting to the annoying sound of the teacher's voice, as well as the crash, the dragon slowly stalked over to the downed machine, and pick up the now one-armed robot by the remaining arm, hoisting it into the air. The creature looked at the writhing robot in its grasp with a look almost akin to curiosity. Mr. Morgan, not about to let himself be lunch, shot the dragon point blank in the face with almost every weapon in the DJ's arsenal as its systems came back online. The blast launched the DJ from the creature's surprised grasp, only for it to get stuck inside a building, its systems once again going dark from the strain. The monster, completely undamaged, was very much annoyed. It covered the distance between them instantly with its great strides, unceremoniously picking up the robot around the midriff with one hand. It then grabbed the DJ's ring with its free hand, then pulled.
