Let's try team work

You had no idea why your were paired with Tex, she's a total badass. You were just well number 11 on the leader bored. "I think this is one of the director's projects" you joke to yourself. Tex never tried to work with you, or to try and have you help her, the biggest thing so far you've done on a mission is unlock a door. You rub a hand over your face sighing when you hear footsteps. When you look up you seem Tex looking down at you "hey in 20 minutes our flight leave for the next mission." You nod slightly getting up "yeah.. Ok" you thought for a second you saw pity in her eyes. You shook it out of your brain and walked to the armory.
You had already been briefed on the mission. Couple major vaults to break in. Looking for something called the EyeGlass with some weird symbol on it. They knew it was at this base just not sure where in the base. There shouldn't be too many hostiles and lots of locked doors. So at least you could help with something.
*50 minutes later*
"FUCK!" They were wrong for saying there was a lot of hostiles. There is a shit ton of soldiers! Tex and you were leaning against a door. Both of you were panting. Tex quickly worked on the door while still shooting. You keep offering to help but she denies you. More soldiers appear. "Fucking Tex! This is called team work! We both fucking know I'm better then you at doors! Let me fucking do it!" She pauses for a second before sighing and turning around to focus on cover fire. You open it in less then a minute.
The door quickly shuts behind you both. No one was in this next room. The both of you slowly walk down it. Next there are 2 guards next to a door. "I think that's it." She nods in response. She shoots the two guards and you work the door.
It slowly opens to 20 more soldiers and a large case in the back. You both jump back hiding at the edges of the door. Every now and then popping out to shoot. You jumped out throwing a grenade in. You feel a searing pain in your left arm. "Dammit" you whisper. Tex kills the last of them. Then tagging the EyeGlass. "Alright let's go." You both nod. Your hand covers the wound on your shoulder as you two run for the exit.
Once the two of you got picked up you look, the whole building pretty much explode. You look away and take off half your armor, trying to get a better look at your arm. Tex walks up. "Why didn't you tell me you were injured?" You shrugged "it wasn't a big deal" Tex growls "yes it is, you could have blacked out or something." You glare at her "so when it comes to getting shot we use team work?"
She froze for a minute, you could tell she was pissed. All the sudden she leans in and slams her lips to yours. You freeze, Tex is kissing you. That had never ran threw you mind as possible to happen.. After a moment of thinking, you kiss her back.
She pulls back. "I'm sorry I asked the director for you to be my partner. I just thought if you were, I could stop you from getting hurt." "I think it ended good." And you kiss her again.
