As the young girl look upon the screen she saw the few people that she cared deeply for, Her parents and her sister. As the video started to play again she sit down to watch it.
"My beautiful daughter how I miss you, I know your trying to save the world but we really miss you." The image of her mom played in a video chat recording.
"It's been five months since I sent you that video, Where have you been? There's also been some Police looking for you and they been searching through your stuff. What is that all about? Have you done something wrong? Please call me back." Her mother said in a harsh tone like any parent who has gotten a phone call from the police wondering what their kid did wrong.
"Katlin I would really like to hear from you! You haven't called in nine months now, I'm getting worried about you. And if you don't call us within a few days then we're coming to get you!" This time the mother voice was more demanding.
Finally within a few days Katlin sent a video chat back.
"Sorry mom work has been pushing and pushing me I'm almost at my breaking point. Ugh John has been getting under my skin. Always behind like he is my shadow. It just makes me mad, I miss you guys." "Katlin! Get off of that chat and go do your job!" "Speak of the devil, Yes sir, Sorry mom I'll try to call you later."
" Katlin blows her mom a kiss.
Then the next video starts to play in the dark of the room. "Mom! I don't know if you can hear me, But you need to get out of Raccoon city! Something bad is happening! They have the dead walking and bitting people and killing them! You need to get everyone out get them to a safe place!" "Katlin there you are; your coming with me!" "No, I'm NOT!! Mom, Dad, run!" Katlin looks into the camera before she is dragged away and out of the room.
The screen goes black until a video tape started to play.
"This is tape one hundred and three. We are here to see our first subject testing, done on our every so willing Katlin. Well Katlin how do you feel? Beside you being all tied down to a table?"
"How dare you! I helped you create this cure, You just can't turn it against me." Katlin yelled trying to break free from her straps.
"Oh poor girl, How very wrong you are." John said as he grabs Katlin's throat choking her. "You see? Your weak and your family is going to pay the price for your stupidity." John said as he release Katlin's throat.
"Don't You Dare Touch Them! I Will Kill You!" Katlin yelled, as she tried to get up but failed with her being tied to the table.
"You? Haha Don't make me laugh! Your never getting out of here! Your going to stay here and be our test subject for as long as we want. And guess what you can't fight us or we might just kill your family." John said, with a smirk, as he lowered his face to meet Katlin's.
Katlin's face change from anger to saddest and hurt. "Why? Why do this to me? What have I done to you? I did everything you asked I helped you." Katlin said as she moved her face away from John's.
"Yes you did help me and your going to help me more by taking these test and being my own test subject." John said as he pulled Katlin's chin to move her head to face him.
"What if I die? What would you do then?" Katlin asked moving forward towards his face in a challenging way.
John sat up and laughed "Well my dear if you die then we go for your family and test every single virus on them."
"No....You can't do this, What have I done to deserve this?" Katlin's voice sounded with so much hurt that alone could kill someone.
"Actually I can do this and yeah you haven't done anything wrong but I am just that evil." John said as he laughed again.
"I did nothing wrong but yet you decide to treat me like a lab rat! I hate you!" Katlin yelled, hearing herself in the echo of the small room.
"Good, I'm glad you hate me because you're going to be hating me even more once these test start. "End the video now! Get her ready for testing." John said, as he pointed at the camera man.
"Yes sir." The camera man said, as he switched the camera off and the screen went black.
Katlin sat there thinking, "how could someone do this?" How stupid she must have been to trust him. Then the video started over again returning to the beginning.
"I guess that's all, I have to find them I have to find my family, but first I have to find a way out of here." Katlin said, as she started walking out of the room into the long hallways and many turns.
Katlin walked down the hallway into many turns and many dead ends.
"Ugh, How many rooms does this place have?" Katlin said, with anger and frustration.
Wesker was nearing Raccoon City's outskirts seeing the crater that was left within the city from the missile that destroy the remaining T-virus victims.
"Now let's find out what made that earthquake." Wesker said, as he got off of his motorcycle.
