What Happened?

As Katlin started walking towards the man in the chair, fear took over her covering her in a blanket, wrapping around her tightly. Katlin brush her fear off, she had to know who or what was in that chair. As Katlin turned the chair around she saw the camera man from the video tapes sitting in the chair, only thing was he looked over ninety years old. A machine was hooked up to him keeping him alive, Katlin stood back and wonder just how long she was asleep.

(coughs) "W-Well (coughs) look who it is, the beautiful Katlin as finally awoken from her sleep." The man said, as his machines started their jobs even harder.

"How long have you been like this?" Katlin asked as her compassion for him began to grow, he also was lied too and put to work for Umbrella. Katlin reached up to the machines keeping him alive.

"Don't you touch me!" The man snapped as he put his hand up to slap her.

Katlin's reflexes kicked in as she grabbed the man wrist, holding onto it tightly.

"Well, looks like your reflexes have gotten sharper." The man said as he tired to wiggle his wrist out of her hand.

"What do you mean? How long have I been in there?" Katlin said as her grip tighten on his wrist.

"You think pain will get you your answers? Haha, How stupid you must be, Trusting Umbrella? Making a "cure" for people who can't even afford it? Your stupid, you were just being used as a lab rat. You are nothing!" The man said as he sat up to get in Katlin's face.

"How dare you! I did nothing wrong, Umbrella just used me just like how they used a pathetic person like you." Katlin said as her grip on the man's wrist tighten even more.

Snap!

Katlin looked at her hand that was holding the man's wrist she had snapped it out of its socket and it was twisted backwards.

"Ow! (The man said as he grabbed his hurt hand, The man looked up to Katlin as he spoke) Now you see a little glimpse of the iceberg of power you now have, all thanks to umbrella." Haha (The man laughed as he held his hurt hand)

"H-How? Did I do that?" Katlin asked the man.

"Um-Umbr Ow Gah!" The man yelled out in pain as he grabbed at the tubes that were stuck into his chest.

"What is happening to you?" Katlin asked as she tried to help the man the best she could.

"Umbrella..doesn't want you to know just what they put inside your blood." The man cried out in pain as the tubes keeping him alive were now going to kill him.

"No! Let me help you." Katlin said as she grabbed one of the tubes from the man's chest, since her compassion was getting the better of her.

"No! You stupid girl! (The man slapped Katlin's hand away) I rather die than let you know anything, Umbrella will rule this world and you will be the reason. Hahahaha!" The man laughed as his final breath was taken from him,  as he sat there the tubes were ripped from his chest letting his blood flow out of them and onto the floor.

"What just happened? Was umbrella watching me? What did he mean by "Umbrella will rule this world and I will be the reason"? I have to find a way out of here."
Katlin said as she went to the man's body and found a keycard to a door.

But as she started turned to exit out of the room, The video she heard earlier started to play.

"W..We...Have made a horrible mistake...Katlin's blood has accepted and seems to control the viruses within her blood!" John's voice echoed within the room, causing Katlin's blood to boiled with the sound of his voice.
