"Are you really my blood parents?" I frowned at Lord Akinori and Lady Fumiki.

"Yes, you are," lady Fumiki replied. "At the time, I had no desire to watch over a crying baby that wouldn't listen, so I gave you to be raised by a former guard and maid. Recognize them?"

"Wait...Seko Ku is my dad, right?" I said slowly. The man's face brightened eagerly at my words. "And is it...Jen?"

"Correct," Lady Fumiki cut me off. "Jen was supposed to nurse you and return you when you were older, but Jen and her husband fled the palace and went to a completely different dimension. That was the last anyone has ever heard of them."

"Years later, when we heard Konoha taking in a dimension-traveler, we decided to take a chance and called you into doing a mission here," Lord Akinori continued.

"So...you sort of...I don't know...illegally kidnapped me to give me a better life?" I asked my adoptive parents.

"That's right," Seko said. "Although we know we are in the wrong, we won't apologize for what we did."

"Why not?" I asked curiously.

"We illegally kidnapped you because several reasons. First, Jen was unable to give brith. Sorry, that's a selfish reason. Second, Lady Fumiki doesn't care for you as a mother. She only needs you to continue her family line. Third, we didn't believe a child as young as you are should shoulder such huge responsibilities."

"You're twelve years old and studying in sixth grade. You don't belong in this world. You belong in Los Angels, California. You belong in Abby Lee's Dance Company. You are a dancer, a performer, and most importantly, our daughter," Jen said, pleadingly. "However, it's your decision to come back home with us, Hirano."

"What use does she have for those things now? She will be groomed to perfection until her wedding day and marry the son of Lord Hachigoro in the Land of Iron," Lord Akinori shot back.

"She'll remain here and will not return to you," Lady Fumiki added. "Go now, before I send guards after you."

"It's Hirano's decision!" My mother snapped.

"Her decision is not necessary," Lord Akinori began, but I was boiling at this point.

"And who said I'll go to your side obediently like a dog?" I spat venomously at Lord Akinori. "Just because we share the same blood, does not mean you are my father and mother. Parents are people who watch you grow up in their care with love. They are the ones who took time to read a good book with you, to boost your moral, and look for ways to make sure you got the best of what they could afford.

"Let me ask you, where were you when I went to kindergarten? Huh? Where were you two when I started taking dance lessons? Where were you when I first cried, won my competitions, practiced with my friends, and fought on the Pyramid? Where were you to spend time with me, to walk me to the bookstore, to take me to school, or the medical appointments? WHERE IN THE WORLD OF CALIFORNIA, WERE YOU TWO WHEN I NEEDED PARENTAL SUPPORT THE MOST?!"

"We had no knowledge of entering your dimension," Lady Fumiki said.

"Because you handed me to a nurse! Do you care? No! You would have nursed me yourself! Why would I go to you guys only to be used for something else? I an elite dancer! I am not a princess! I want to beat Maddie! I want to rise to the top with my own skills! I don't want life handed to me! I am a human being who has emotions!" I screamed. Who cares if I'm being immature now? I want to go home, to my real family.

"Silence! Restrain her!"

"Over our dead bodies!" My friends snarked right back, keeping their backs closer and tighter around me.

Thankfully, Team Ten's combo and the Dog Duo helped stop most of the guards, and whoever escaped the trio's clutch were caught by Sasuke's attacks, Naruto's clones, Hinata's punches, or Shino's swarm of bugs. Sakura steered me out of harms way and got me to my parents.

"Mom, Dad!" Memories of my previous life flashed through me head. "I remember everything now!"

"Save tears until we're out of here," Mom warned, but smiled nonetheless.

"Let's go home," Dad grinned, his arms pulling me into a hug.

"Guards! After them!"

"Bye Sakura! Bye everyone!" I yelled at my friends.

"Just go! Be safe!" I turned and followed my parents out of the palace and right into the galaxy-like portal two feet away from the main doors. As soon as I stepped into the portal, I could think of one thing:

I'm finally going home.
