It was dark.

Well obviously, since I was blindfolded. My body was tied up and a murmur of voices told me that medical ninja had kidnapped me and mostly likely Hinata. Glorious.

The enemy had tied me up in a strange way; arms locked behind me, and legs fastened to my wrists. I ended up lying on the ground with my back arched in a...comfortable way. Had I not been a dancer, I would be in a lot of pain.

"Hey, I know you're awake."

I screamed. I had to give the impression that I wasn't as flexible and was in pain.

"Boss wants her."

"Hai."

Someone cut the rope above me, causing me to fall. The drop was probably no more than ten feet. I groaned in fake agony, but I wasn't given any recovery time.

A hand hoisted me up and off the ground. I was still tied up with rope, so after untying my legs so that I could walk, I pretended to have shaky and wobbly legs.

"Move it," someone said beside me, kicking the back of my legs. I walked unsteadily with rope around my wrists and my captor behind me, prodding and pushing me along.

A door opened, and I tripped over something. "Ow," I whined.

I was dragged to my feet again, and after awhile, I was back on my feet. Then, my captor stopped, causing me to jerk on the rope and fall. Again. Hooray!

The blindfold was ripped off my face. I blinked, taking in my new surroundings.

"So, you're awake." The "boss" said to me.

I'm assuming he is the boss anyway.

"We're going to have to kill you," he said, taking out a knife from his pocket. "Hold her still."

"Not like she can move fast enough anyway," my captor shot back. "Iko's rope techniques made sure of that."

"Great. This will be quick then--" I jerked diagonally from where I stood. I had gain a lot of strength in my legs and arms, thanks to Ibiki-san's training. The rope around my wrists were still tight, but I didn't bother with it.

Unfortunately, that was also my downfall. I was jerked down immediately, when the boss stomped on the tail of my rope.

"Oh no you don't," he sneered, raising his knife again. I glared and shot my legs over and between his legs. I kicked him right off of me and somersaulted back to my feet. I kicked the boss again then head butted my captor sharply then swung my leg straight up into his jaw.

Bacshoo!

My captor slammed straight into the wall. I didn't stay to find out whether or not he had been knocked unconscious. I dropped the rope around my wrists that I had been untying during the fight and ran to the door.

"Foolish girl, that door is locked!" I ignored the boss behind me and brought my knee right into the center of the wooden door. The wood cracked, and I shot right through the door.

Hinata! I have to look for her!

I ran through the halls, trying to find either the exit or my friend. I knew the alarm would sound soon enough and I had to find her fast.

Wait, why would anyone want Hinata? I know she's from a noble clan, but could she be used for ransom? No, then she would have been kept in the dungeons with me, I thought.

Maybe Hinata has a special ability! I need to find a dissection room! Or lab!

I ran down so many halls I couldn't tell my lefts and rights anymore.

Then, when I thought life couldn't get any worse--

Eeereerriiieerrriiing!

--the alarm just had to ring didn't it?
