Nightmare //Reverse! AU (Eddsworld)

The sun had been out and shining brightly. He thought nothing could of happened, he thought that everything would be all perfect and happy with smiles and giggles. It started out amazing. His friend had come back, they're bond was growing stronger by the minute, and no one got hurt.

Oh how he was so wrong...

He had only been used for some sick, twisted plan...

His emotions had been toyed with and he had been tossed around like a rag doll...

To put it simple, Tord felt... Broken...

And all because of one specific person; Edd. He had only returned back home after those long, agonizing 8 years just to destroy everything he loved.

"E-Edd?! What are you doing?! Sto-" That was that he could say before Edd drove the butt of a pistol into his head, knocking him out cold. He hit the ground with a full thud, a simple wheeze of breath escaping before his eyes fully closed. "Stop..."

The event seemed to go by in a blurred vision. Edd vowing to take over the world, destroying their house and injuring Patryk. And most of all...

Shattering Tord's heart and their friendship...

A few hours later, Tord woke up with a strangled groan, sitting up and looking around the now ashy and destroyed area. He gasped softly under his shaky breath once his eyes landed on a certain pair; was that Paul and Patryk? The shorter of the two, Paul had been frantically shaking an unconscious Patryk in his arms. Pat's arm seemed cut above the elbow, but nothing bad enough to make him hospitalized.

Tord shook his head, immediately regretting it as he doubled over in pain, yelping softly as a shooting pain shot through his skull and down his back, causing the other to gasp, his head perking up and quickly turning to face him. "Tord?! Tord thank God you're okay!!" He shouted, running over to him and tightly hugging him as he choked on sobs. "Pat won't wake up!"

"What happened...?" The Norsk choked out, his head throbbing in pain as he winced.

"Edd... Happened..."
