Chapter 2

"Uchiha." Tsunade's slight monotoned voice filled the semi-silence of the room. Her previously warm and lively hazel brown eyes now held very little emotions and only flickered warmth when seeing her two apprentices.

Her eyes moved its interest to Naruto. Raising an eyebrow, she wanted and needed an explanation. The blonde ninja straightened his posture and cleared his throat.

"As you could see, baa-chan," Naruto began, his nickname for Tsunade appeared. "I brought Sasuke back, just like what my mission scroll you gave me a few years ago has told me to do,".

She hummed in return and fixed her posture, looking straight into the blonde's eyes. She opened her mouth to speak. "I remembered the many couple of times when you refused stubbornly to come back, Uchiha. What made you change your mind?" She asked.

Naruto was about to reply when Tsunade gave him a glare, silently telling him to shut up. Sasuke sighed inwardly, not wanting to answer or even say anything.

When he was about to speak, the hokage raised her hand and told her apprentices to get out of her office before telling him to continue what he was about to do.

His eyes twitched from annoyance and became silent.

Tsunade stared at him, waiting for his explanation.

They both started to have a glaring contest.

3 minutes has passed and her eyes started to hurt, watering up in the process. She wiped the upcoming tears with the ends of her sleeves before giving up.

She groaned and told Naruto to explain instead. He gave her a grin in respond, telling her he'd be happy to explain for Sasuke.

"Well, you see baa-chan," He started and Tsunade gave him a glare. "Stop calling me baa-chan, Naruto." She spat at him. He gulped and nodded at her. "You see, Tsunade-sama," He started over and she gave him a smirk in return.

"It was in the early morning, I just woke up, got dressed and head out of the inn I was staying at. Then I went out of the waterfall village, the place where I stayed at, and went around to another village-- finding a place to eat and think about where Sasuke could be in," he said.

"It took about.. 3 hours? Yeah, it took me 3 hours and I finally found the perfect place to eat and think in. I ate in this cool barbecue restaurant, maybe I ate a little too much 'cause when I got out, my stomach felt like a balloon,".

"I went off to chill for a while, trying to calm my stomach because it hurt a lot. A couple of minutes later, I went off to look around the place, checking if Sasuke would be there. Apparently, he wasn't and I double checked it just to make sure but again, there was no Uchiha in sight,".

"I went out of that place and went to another one. Again, there was no Uchiha. And then again, when I went to another place, I still couldn't spot him anywhere!" Naruto groaned "After 3 times of going one place to another, I gave up and went to search in the woods. It was almost dark when I reached the forest so I decided to prepare for the night,".

"The next day, I packed my stuff and cleaned up the area. I was wandering around when I heard whispers behind some trees and bushes. Of course being the smart person I am, I hid my chakra and went nearer, hiding behind this huge and fat tree,".

"All I heard was hushed whispers and then silence. I thought that the people who were discussing in whispers sensed my chakra but that possibly couldn't be since I made sure my chakra was completely hidden. So I went to move behind another tree, one that was a little bit nearer to the bushes,".
