Regrets-Orson Krennic

@r5ftclifford thanjs you for requesting this which is the first Krennic one shot in my book :) hope you like it.

"Where is the girl?" Lieutenant Commander Krennic asked Galen Erso both men just glared at each other as i looked up ahead from the corner of my eyes i saw something moving,the girl. I moved my head to look and squinted my eyes but didn't say a word.

Krennic got Galen to aboard his ship with the rest of the men that came from the Empire. When he was taking him inside i quickly walked over to where the girl was hiding and she stared back at me with fear in her eyes.

I softened my eyes and stared at the poor girl,she'll be lonely from now on, "(Y/N)!"

"Stay here until everything is clear,don't let anyone take you away." I quickly spoke and ran back out meeting face to face with Krennic.

"What were you doing back there?" He asked with his hands behind his back and serious as ever.

"Nothing commander! I thought i saw something but it was just a creature sir." I said.

"Very well then." He looked away from me and started to enter the ship with me behind him.

It's been years since i joined the Empire and last saw the small girl,i know she's out there somewhere..the reason why i let her live and didnt tell Krennic was because she has a whole life ahead of her. I left my family thinking that this life was the best for me..but i would trade anything to go back in time and fix things.

Krennic and I were a couple worst of all is that most people knew but we didnt acted like a real couple that would live with each other,be at least nice or kiss...but Krennic is a serious man and would always say that he's a busy man.

I've spent years like this doing the same routine over and over again.I am getting tired of my life.I wanted to start a family have someone to love me back but i can't.

"(Y/N) did you finish the papers?" Krennic asked me.

"Yes they are."

"Good,bring them to me at once we must speak to each other privately." With that he turned his heels and stepped outside of my small room.

I groaned and began to organize the files,i started making my way towards his office and was about to knock but he opened it quickly staring at me like he wanted to kill something.

"Place them in my desk."

I did as he told me,he sat on the edge of his desk and stared down at me,"You would tell me anything..would you?"

I can feel my heart beat faster every second,"Y-yes." I tried my best to stutter which i failed.

"Good..cause i've been informed that way back when the girl escaped you helped her." He spoke back with his cold icy blue eyes.

"I-i don't know what you are talking about i'm your p-partner am i?"

"Yes but you've been a spy and decided to join the Empire to steal the plans havent you? You knew where the girl was hiding and you kept it away from me."

He shouted and slapped at me,i touched my cheek which was gonna have a bruise but i didnt shed a single tear,i glared back at him.

"You caught me..do it then.kill me like you did to the rest!"

Krennic was ready to beat me up when an alarm went on and stormtroopers started to dash down the halls.

"This won't be the end." He warned me so he left and i did the same trying to find where the girl is. I started to run and search for her and i made it just in time when i saw Krennic on the ground.

"Jyn Erso." The girl who was now a woman stared at me quickly recognizing me.

"You're that woman who saved my life."

"I'm sorry that you lost your father." I said and gave her a sympathetic smile, "I wish i could've done something useful."

"You did.Come with us if you want to live." The man behind her spoke but kept a glare on me.

I was about to walk away when Krennic grabbed my ankle and stared back at me,"...I'm sorry for the way i treated you back then,you deserved someone better.Now go! i want you to save yourself."

I leaned down and kissed him before quickly leaving with Jyn that's until a stormtrooper carried me into a ship away from Jyn.I started pounding on the door screaming for Jyn but the planet got destroyed.

I sat down on the ship crying like i never did before.I should've done something else with my life instead of this,I should've saved Jyn and her friends when i had the chance now i'll have to live with this pain for the rest of my life.
