Birthday-Poe Dameron

Another year has flown by and it's my birthday once more I let out a sigh and let my head rest on my desk. It's the same every year. Crying over the fact that my parents aren't here to celebrate my birthday again,i stare down at there locket in my hand and open it,a picture of my parents and i inside of it.

I wipe my tears away and decide to leave my room and outside maybe everyone is asking for me.

I begin to walk around and saw a few people stare at me and began to hide, "What is going on?" I continue and made my way over to see the General when someone raced towards the front door.

"H-Hey! Kira..w-what are you doing?" one of friends Poe Dameron says who looks surprised at my sudden appearance.

"I was going to meet with the General Leia,do you know where she is? Is she inside?' I ask trying to reach the door.

"No! She isn't here at the moment."

I lower my head and try to not get upset, "Do you know when she'll be back? I always spend this day with her.."

"This day?"

"Yes..it's my bir-"

"We can hangout with you want to." Poe smiles and to step aside from the door. "I'm not busy today." i decide to believe him and we began to walk away.

"Where's BB-8?"

"He's probably..around."

Poe must've realized that after a couple of minutes i stayed silent so he stopped walking, "Why are you suddenly so quiet?" he asked worried about me. "Well today is my birthday.."
"That's great! Congratulation." He smiled again and hugged me.

"Thanks but it's my 22 birthday..it's been four years since my parents are gone."

"I'm sorry." Poe grabbed my hand and gently held onto it. "I don't want to see you sad on your special day so i promise i'll try to make you happy."

Poe bought me a few things,he showed me how he flies his X-wing and promises to teach me sometime,we hanged out with Chewbacca and now we were heading back to where Leia is, "Close you eyes Kira." I gave Poe a look but he told me that it wasn't anything stupid so i closed them and he guided me inside.

He placed his hands over my eyes so I wouldn't open them, "Alright you can open them." i felt him let go and I saw everyone inside, "Surprise!" they all shouted. The place was covered with balloons and tons of decorations and a huge cake in the middle of a table.

"Happy Birthday." Leia said and gently hugged me.

"I can't believe you all did this for me..thank you." I say to them all. "I thought you all forgot about it."

"That's why we all hid a couple of things when you passed by,we didn't want to ruin the surprise." I look up at Poe and wrapped my arms around him.

"Thank you so much."

Poe and I pulled away and stared at each other slowly he began to lean down until Chewbacca roared and came inside with a few gifts. both of us laughed and helped cut the cake,my parents must be proud of the many friends i have who've never let me down.

HAPPY NEW YEARS EVERYBODY! IT'S FINALLY 2018!!! AND I'M BACK TO WRITING ON THIS BOOK. I JUST SAW HOW MANY READS I'VE GOTTEN.. 51.3K!!! SO IT'S FINALLY 2018 FEEL FREE TO TELL ME WHAT YOU LOOK FORWARD THIS YEAR AND WHAT YOU MOST ENJOYED FROM LAST YEAR. I HOPE I GET MORE VIEWS THIS YEAR SINCE I'M HAVING SO MUCH FUN WITH THIS BOOK. I'M PLANNING TO RELEASE THIS BOOK IN SPANISH TOO BUT I'LL THINK ABOUT IT FIRST.

ALSO EXPECT MORE ONE SHOTS FOR CASSIAN ANDOR,JYN ERSO,ORSON KRENNIC,GENERAL HUX,DARTH VADER AND OTHER STAR WARS CHARACTERS WHO HAVE MINOR ROLES IN THE MOVIES.
