billie-jean's p.o.v:
i was just out exploring today and i picked the worst day cause it was freezing cold. i was just walking around and spotted a music shop. 'a little record' was the name. aw cute. *eye roll*
i walked in, having a tad bit of trouble with the door too, and headed straight for the vynl section. scanning through all of the vynls i heard the little bell go off a second later. not bothering for human interaction (a/n: pun not intended. those of you who know what song that is i praise you) i didnt bother turning around, but kept looking at the spice girls record in my hand.
I decided to go look through the cds and shuffled over to where the guy was, looking at sum 41 albums. i didnt look at him because i was more focused on browsing the cds. that was until he unexpectedly said my name. is he stalking me?
"hi, billie?" the guy said and i lefted my head up, away from a record i was holding and looked at him, he was maybe around 24-25 and had fading purple hair poking out his beanie. "hi. do i know you?" was my kindest reply i could mumble.
"uh, yes actually. my name is josh dun, we were in highschool together?" 'josh dun' stated. i nodded absolutely confused why he was interacting with me. "how've you been?" lots of questions.
"well joshua, im not entirely sure how to answer that, but to comfirm your question i am slowly making my way through the dark" i know that answer is kind of depressing but that is what i am.
"what do you mean? are you okay?" his voice was laced with concern, just like everyone else's ive ever talked to. it was fake. "sometimes" i grumbled, pulling my phone out.
i asked for josh's phone, he was confused but gave it nonetheless. i typed my number in and sent myself a text. "see ya round bud" patting his shoulder, i walked out of the old music shop, into the sea of people, hugging my jacket closer as a gush of wind passed.
