Maya's POV
I walk through the halls as I wait for Riley, it's Friday today and it's after school. My mom said we could go too the movies and i'm really excited, I see her and walk to her and see that she has gotten her own White board.
'Hey Maya!' she writes. "Hey Riles" I say and she smiles. 'Ready?' she writes and I nod and we walk outside to her moms car.
"Hey Riley, how was school?" her mom, Topanga says and she answers. "It was good" she retorts and I just sit there akwardly.
"Who's your new friend?" she asks and Riley says "Mom, This is Maya. She is deaf" She looks my way and holds out her hand and Riley hands her the board. 'Hi Maya, I'm Topanga Riley's mom' I smile and shake her hand. "Hi" I say and her mom turns back back to Riley.
"You know your going to see?" she asks and I say "Blue is the warmest color" she looks suprised. "Oo, that's a good french movie" I nod and she starts the car and drives off and I notice i'm still holding Riley's hand and my heart fludders.
This is going to be one day...
