It was all a blur. What had happened the previous night? Where was she?
She woke up gagged with her hands tied in a sort of cell. She didn't know where she was or why she was there. Just that it wasn't good. Suddenly she heard whispering from behind her.
".....that one....took my.."
"i know....take her....make her do...."
"..kill.."
What the? Ruby thought.
Suddenly she was being dragged out of her cell. She screamed and tried to run, but it was no use. Now she was doomed to a future with no happy ending for her. This place would be her deathbed. It was only a matter of time.
When she woke up the reality just became real. She realized that no one will save her from this. She looked around for her scroll. Nope. It wasn't there. She searched for food and water. Nope.
"This is a cell, not a jungle" boomed the voice
That voice again! Ruby thought
"I CANT TAKE IT! COME WITH ME, IF YOU DON'T, YOU WILL DIE EARLY!"
Soon they had set her down in a corner and two women were standing over her. One of them had white hair in a complicate updo with black veins over her skin. The other had short brown hair that covered an eye (or where her eye used to be) and was wearing a gold and red dress. She had seen her before .
Cinder.
What would Cinder want with her? Cinder had killed her friend. If anything Cinder owed Ruby.
Cinder was whispering in the other woman's ear and the woman was nodding in agreement. Then Ruby was dragged to something that looked like the chamber they put Pyrrha in when...
Oh crap.
The woman with the white hair pulled a lever. Soon Ruby was electrocuted, then she felt nothing at all.
Later, she woke up to find herself in a cell with spirits. Why would she be in there? Then she looked across the room.
That girl wasn't her. But it looked exactly like her.
Oh no.
She looked down at her hands. White and transparent.
There was so much Ruby could've done. But it had all been taken away. She looked through the bars of the cell. She knew no one was safe.
"I love you, Yang."
