In Love With an Assassin (LevixEren)

Chapter 1

Eren's POV:

"I'm off to work experience Mikasa. I'll see you later." As I grab my coat I hear my adopted sister yell a good luck. For my work experience I'm helping out at the local orphanage. The walk takes about 15 minutes so I get there quickly. However, when I arrive I see camera crews and police officers outside. The first officer I spoke to just ignored me. He seemed to be talking into a phone without getting a reply. I walked to the front line of officers and went to the closest one.

"Excuse me sir but whats going on? I asked.     

"Someone has taken everyone inside hostage. The man you tried talking to before is trying to negotiate their safty but he's, unfortunatly, not getting a reply."  I was honestly shocked by what the officer had just said. I mean who would hold an orphanage hostage? From where we stood, we could easily be seen from the window.

Without thinking I put my bag and coat on the ground. I then emptied my pockets. I knew of a back entrance (although not it's prrecise location) and before anyone could stop me I run around to find it. Once I saw it I opened it carefully. After I closed it I turned around only to be met with something cold against my forehead. As I looked up from the floor I saw a man in front of me.

"What do you want?" I swallowed before replying.

"I want you to let all of the children and staff here go. Take me instead. I don't know what you want but I'll give my life if I have to." I'm an idiot. The words came out before I could stop them. I looked directly into his eyes. They were a pale green and he had short, scruffy, blond hair. Although he only came up to my shoulder in height, he looked twice or three times stronger than me.  I did my best not to look intimidated  while I waited for his reply.

"Fine just gag & blindfold yourself. Then turn round to face the door with your hands behind your back." I must have smiled or something because he's looking at me like i'm insane. Although I probably am, I mean I just offered to be kidnapped for people I don't know. I nodded to show I understood what he was asking of me. He then took two black sripes of fabric and threw them at me.

Unknown's POV:

What is with this kid. First he offers himself to save those children, then he smiles like a madman when I agree. I throw him the gag and blindfold then go tell everyone what to do.

"You're all free but you have to wait until the back door slams shut before you leave the building. Am I understod?" They nod so I hang up the police had been using to 'negotiate' with me. I walked back to see the kid standing, facing the door. At least he's ready to go, well almost. I took some strong rope from my hoodie pocket then tied his hands together. The boss won't be happy for not killing the people without causing a disturbance and for taking this kid instead but I don't care. He intrigues me. What was he doing here in the first place? Guess I'm going to have to wait for an answer, after I tell the boss what happened.

Eren's POV:

I felt my hands being tied together. I know that ment he was ready to get going. I hope Mika will be alright without me. I hear the door open & then I'm pushed out, I didn't fall but I stumbled. I'm guessing he slammed the door, judging be the noise. I feel him push me again, although not as hard. I start walking but I can still feel his hand on my back.

"Stop kid. I'm going to take the blindfold off, just until you get in the car. Then I'm going to put it back on, ok?"  I nodded & the next thing I see is a black corsa. He probably doesn't like standing out. He opens the door so I get in, moments later the blindfold is back on and he puses me over so I'm laying down on the back seats. I think of Mikasa again, she finds it difficult to fit in. I normally hung round with her. The car starts moving, heading toward my almost definate doom.
