The Dobre Way

Chapter 4

I woke up before anyone else (of course) so I decided to get the first shower. I grabbed my clothes and went to their bathroom. I was completely naked when I heard the bathroom door open so I grabbed the first thing I saw which was a towel and wrapped it around my body and turned around to see a blushing Lucas with his mouth open. "Lucas what the hell! Get out!" I yelled. But he was still leaning in the door way "NOW!" I yelled so that snapped him out of his trance. He mumbled "sorry" and closed the door I was wondering why he was starring at me. Then I remembered the scars on my arms he must have been starring at them. So I got a shower and put the concealer on my scars and got dressed. I walked out of the bathroom and got my duffle bag out of Lucas's room. I jogged down the stairs to see everyone eating including Lucas . I walked over to Haley and decided she needed some interrogation "so did you guys do the deed." I whispered wiggling my eye brows. She just looked at me and smack my arm screaming "no" the twins  were surprised by her sudden outburst. I looked at the time and it said 10:45 "Holy shit guys we need to head to school." I said gathering up my things "Savanna look outside it is snowing. School for cancelled." Haley said (I know it like never snows in California  it just go with it) I put all my stuff down "What do you guys want to do?" Marcus asked "We don't care it's your house" I said "okay then let's play some video games." We all nodded in agreement. "Suck it" I said doing my victory dance as I beat them all "sorry I'm a gloater"I said "Savanna can I talk to you?" Lucas said "um sure" I said so he lead me up to his room and I sat on the top Bunk Lucas took a hold of my arm only yo see it scar free. He looked up at me with questioning look "Where are they?" He asked looking at me "where are what?" I asked trying to act stupid. He made me look at him "you know what I am talking about Savanna, those scars on your arms.show me" Lucas said. I sighed went into the bathroom and scrubbed off the concealer. I looked at myself in the mirror questioning of was really gonna do this. With out thinking I sighed and went in there to show Lucas "why would you do this to yourself Savanna?" Lucas asks with a sympathetic and angry look on "I don't........anymore"I said. Lucas then asked "why would you do this" again. I decided I would tell him "About a year before I moved to Ohio my parents and my brother went on a vacation and I didn't go cause I was sick. On the way back." I felt my self starting to choke up. I haven't cried since a few after their death's. So I took a deep breath and said "They died all of them. My mom, my dad, and Stuart. I felt like I should have died with them and sometimes I still do, so I went into depression I was basically living by myself." He looked at me "until I met Haley she brought me out of depression sorry I started to live with her. Now we are here." Lucas took my hands in his and said "I am so sorry that that happened to you. I wish I was there. Please pro.ise me that you will never do that again though." I nodded on the verge of tears and he hugged me. He pulled away from the hug and put his hand on my face. He pulled me off the bunk bed and but my legs around his waist. What he did next surprised me he kissed me on the lips so I started to kiss back. I pulled away and looked into his eyes "Lucas what does this mean?" I ask "He smiled and asked "Do you wanna date me" I nodded and kissed him again
