The guards literally dragged her to her cell, her cellmate just happened to be Obi-Wan. They threw her inside and she lay on the ground, numb and dead inside. From her point of view it would've been better if Maul had just killed her so she would be with Anakin. Then she would be happy for once. She'd be free of pain and suffering. "Natalia?" Obi-Wan asked, but she didn't reply, she rolled over and sobbed, Obi-Wan crouched down and picked her up and sat her down so she wouldn't choke on her tears. "What happened?" He asked, "They... They... They killed Anakin!" Natalia shouted through her sobs, Obi-Wan's eyes widened, "No... This can't be true." Obi-Wan said quietly, "I saw it with my own eyes!" She shouted again, Obi-Wan stayed quiet as Natalia sobbed. Suddenly the door opened and two guards came in. "What do you want now?!" Natalia screamed at them, they took off their helmets and showed their faces. "We're here to help." The female replied, Obi-Wan smiled at her. They lead the two Jedi to the docks where Maul's commandos were battling members of Death Watch. "You know the Republic will invade Mandalore, right?" Obi-Wan asked Bo-Katan. She nodded, "Maul will die and Mandalore will survive, we always have." Bo-Katan replied, "You're Satine's sister, aren't you?" Obi-Wan asked her, she nodded and looked at the ground, "I'm so sorry." Natalia told her while putting a hand on her shoulder, she just looked down at the ground.

"Just get out of here." Bo-Katan told them, they nodded and ran to a ship, "Let's get out of here." Natalia said, Obi-Wan nodded and they sped away from Mandalore. Natalia got up from the seat as they entered hyperspace and sat on the ground. She started sobbing and Obi-Wan sat down with her, "It gets better." Obi-Wan tried to reassure Natalia, he too was hurting from Anakin's death. He pulled her into a hug and they sat like that for a while. "It gets easier over time." He whispered, they neared the star cruiser and Obi-Wan had to get up and pilot the ship again. He landed the ship in the hangar and they got out, Natalia didn't think she'd ever get over his death. "It feels so strange without him." Natalia said quietly, Obi-Wan nodded in agreement.

"General Kenobi, thank goodness we found you, we haven't heard form General Skywalker for hours." Rex told Obi-Wan, "What happened?" He asked Natalia, "General Skywalker's dead, Captain. He's gone." Natalia told him, she walked away from Obi-Wan and Rex, "Let me talk to her." Rex said, he ran over to Natalia who had more tears coming from her eyes.

"I'm so sorry Natalia." He said, Natalia sighed and it felt like her heart sank to the ground, "It'll be fine. I'll move on." Natalia told herself, Rex took his helmet off and looked at Natalia. She looked up at him and started crying again. She wrapped her arms around him and sobbed. "Don't die on me, Rex. Promise me you won't die." Natalia pleaded, Rex didn't say anything, "I promise I won't die." Rex finally replied to the heartbroken Jedi. She let go of him and fell to the ground in defeat. Her sobs echoed through the hall and she shut her eyes. Her husband is dead, and she couldn't do anything about it. She was so tired of it, she started to grow bitter and angry.

"He's gone." She whispered to herself, "He's gone." She whispered again, Rex crouched down and tried to comfort her but it made her more upset. "I shouldn't have these feelings Rex, I shouldn't but I loved him." She said. Rex just nodded, he was very intelligent but he wasn't bred for this kind of situation. He wasn't very good at comforting people. "Captain Rex, come in. Captain Rex come in." A voice called through Rex's comlink, Rex stared at it suspiciously and answered it. "Captain Rex here?" Rex said through his communicator, "Let me take this, I'll be right back." Rex whispered to Natalia, she nodded and he put his helmet back on and walked away.

She sighed and leaned against the wall, she saw her wedding ring and took it off, she threw it across the ground and the ring clattered as it bounced off of the hard floor. She stood up and picked the ring up off of the floor and felt it's texture. It was a simple gold ring but it meant so much to her and Anakin, she prayed that he was watching from above. "I love you, Anakin." Natalia whispered, she looked over to Rex and saw him walking beside Anakin, she rubbed her eyes and looked again, it was definitely Anakin, and he looked confused.

"Anakin!" Natalia screamed, she ran over to him as fast as she could and almost knocked him off of his feet. She wrapped her arms around him so tightly he couldn't breathe. "Natalia, I'm here. What happened?" Anakin asked, "It was Maul. He made me believe you were dead." Natalia told him, fresh tears springing out of her eyes. "I believed it, Anakin. I thought you were gone." She said, she wasn't letting him go. "I love you, Anakin." Natalia whispered to him.

"I love you too, Natalia."
