Loki remember the sound of cracking bones just beneath his skin, the sight of bruises forming along his porcelain like skin, eyes growing heavy, holding back any tears that threatened to fall. He remember the horrid look upon his mothers faces when she saw him, the trickster immediately dismissing it all, wandering back to his own chambers. He could remember the pain he felt, the dry blood that clenched to his attire, his own flesh. Loki remembered it all, every last detail and it replayed in his mind, slowly sleeping in to fuel the rage he had already built up, fuelled the disgust in himself. He remembered the torture he had to bare, the face of the one who put him through Hel whenever he so felt like it. The once prince saw so clearly, saw the reasoning behind such abuse, such actions from the one whom everyone calls their king, the one whom supposedly is his father. Odin. He remembered the feeling he got every time Thor would barge in, demanding that Loki told him who had done this, who put his little brother through such. He remembered never telling the golden son for he would not believe a word he said, for Thor would only think of him a liar. He remembered using his magic to cover up the scars, cover up the fresh marks upon his body for no one to see, for no one to take pity upon him, for this torture, this abuse had lasted for as long as Loki could remember.

The sun had woken Loki up, shining brightly through his curtains he oddly had forgotten to close, though as a figure stood there, eyes upon the young prince he knew whom it was. "And why have you graced me with your presence?" He spoke, annoyance in his voice. He remembered.. "you need to tell me, Loki why are you always in such a bad state" -- "you wouldn't believe me even if I told you, though it's none of your conc-" he remembered the look upon the others face, the anger that covered his features. Remembered the way a strong hand was landed across his cheek, blue eyes filled with fury. "You think me a fool!" -- "that's not what I was aiming at" Loki tried to remain calm, his mind wandering places he wished it wouldn't, thoughts he so desperately wished weren't there. "Then tell me, who has done this to you!" -- "it's not your concern, now leave!" He remembered..his brother, the shadow he so loved behind, the golden son of this realm, walking away in pure frustration. This was to be there last, the last time they were to be brothers.

Loki remembered every night he'd stand upon his balcony, the wind blowing through his raven like hair, emerald hues gazing over Asgard. He remembered thinking about things, things that one should never be thinking of, the ones he'd be deemed a coward if he even attempted. But whom was there to stop him? To tell him that this was not the answer, that there's more meaning then this. Who would be there to mourn for him, to wonder if this was there doing. Wondering if they were the cause of him taking his own life. Loki remembered thinking of these things, the many different ways to end his suffering, but only grew more cold, distance himself away from everyone. He thought himself to no longer have a heart, thought himself to be nothing but a monster. He remembered one night that the rain was pouring heavily, the sound of thunder crackling throughout the skies, lightning illuminating the streets, the golden palace. He remembered almost doing it that night for it had been one that he had many new broken bones, cuts all over his body, whip marks falling upon the sling of his back; though as the pain grew, as the blood dropped from his body onto his chambers floor, he had finally broke down. He remembers a young maiden coming in, her eyes widening upon the sight in front of her, however she did not run, she immediately came to his aid. He remembered that being the first night of discovering whom he truly was, why he endure such action of disgust, of hate. He was a Jotun, it only made sense, he was nothing but a relic to be kept locked away. He remembered learning of the maidens name that night, a feeling he had long forgotten slowly coming back the longer he stared into her beautiful eyes, admiring her beauty.

Loki's eyes immediately opened, bringing himself back to reality, sweat forming along his forehead as he tried to sit up, only to be pushed back down. His head was pounding, vision slowly becoming more clear. Had he? "Where a-am I?" He asked, wondering if he was still in Midgard, hiding out in that rundown inn, or if he was elsewhere, being taken away to gods know where.Loki couldn't remember the last time he had been taken care of, looked after while he healed properly, rested without the worry of someone coming during the night to take him away, to beat him until he no longer could bare it. Yet as his eyes opened, emerald hues looking up, he noticed something. The walls were a boring colour, floors made of tile as forgein machinery surrounded him. He laid upon a rather uncomfortable bed, small and loud everytime he so tried to move, voices of mortals being heard just outside the big teal door that held him here, in this room it so seemed. Loki noticed how dimmed the lights were, fresh flowers sitting on a stand not to far from him, what seemed to be a card as well, though what really shocked the trickster was the fact he was alone, that he was not surrounded by people he did not know, people not curious on how and why he was here. All he remembered was the car, then blacking out.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
As the hours went by, Loki laid in the same spot, not bothering to move for he found no point on trying. His body ached, bones mostly broken for this mortal body of his does not heal as fast as his god like one. He noticed the bruises forming along his body, over lapping the old ones that were almost healed. He noticed fresh cuts along his skin, the blood dry. How bad was it? The scene that went down he knows not when, nor does he know how long he has been here. Sighing, the raven haired man slowly sat himself up, groaning in pain as his body was not liking him at this moment, getting its revenge on how he has been treating it since the day he arrived on this forsaken realm, left to die. The pain mostly shot through his chest, neck, shoulders, and arms, causing the once god to wonder were he had been hit the hardest. Perhaps the broken ribs could tell him that.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
"Ah, it's nice to see you awake finally, you've been out for about a week now" a nurse said as she came into the room, a smile along her lips as she went to change the flowers, check on the man. "How are you feeling?" She asked, causing Loki to cock up a brow, hues gazing upon this mortal. "You tell me" he hissed, making the nurse jump a little. Shaking her head, the maiden left the room in search for the doctor. Loki rolled his eyes, laying his head back as he tried his hardest to become comfortable, but failing miserably. Loki's eyes slowly began to close again, tiredness taken over once more as he body just wanted to sleep, to heal itself, even if it means he had to fight it, ultimately losing once more.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
More memories came to Loki, clouding his mind as he fell into a deep sleep, the pain he once felt slowly fading as he began to remember the few good times of his life. The ones from when he was only a child, carefree and ready to take on the world, though that didn't last long for he began to grow cold, distant from everyone as the reason got worse throughout the years. As the punishment got worse, to the point it would happen if he had said something wrong, accidentally knocked something over. Those were dark times, and stayed that way until the very day he broke, the day he fell from the bi frost into nothingness, the day thanos found him, played with his mind, making him a pawn of a sick game.
