What.....I'm confused......

I looked at him. Then he looked at me with his gorgeous blue eyes.

Ahem.....gulp....focus dodo!!!

"Why did you bring me here to help if no one can see me?" I asked.

"....because....I'm all alone....and I NEED you to help me help you. " He said in a strange tone, as if he knew more.

Me??? Why does he have to help me?

"Why do you need to help us? We are doing fine. Just the typical X-event." I said bluntly.

"That's not just it." He said bluntly right back. "My father has been lying about continuing the truce between earth and us."

Stunned, I took a step back.

No flippin way!

"He has been planning a secret attack on Earth, to control all the X's. When you hear about "rebels" of our planet destroying things and rebelling against the truce. That right there, is simply not true. The rebellion is not against holding peace amongst the races, that is a cover up story my father created. They are the Peo. The actual rebels are with my father and agree with his agenda, controlling X's. The people with my father agree that they should attack earth and bring them to their knees. I could not stand the thought of bringing pain and suffering to others so I joined the Peo, Peacemakers. I was undercover in my father's house to warn the A.A. that everything that my father has to you guys had been a lie." He declared.

I've heard some crazy things in my life, but this......this just takes it to a whole new level.........

I could not comprehend what I was being told. I just stared back blankly.

"When you look deeper into the database about me. It no longer mentions me as just the son of the ruler...but a "rebel"."

I was still confused, and you could probably read it on my face.

Jakein could tell I was so lost on what he was trying to tell me.

He let out a calm sigh and proceeded to try explain the situation better or dumbed-down.

"The so-called bad people are not bad. They are the Peo or Peacemakers.

I could not believe what he was telling me. All this time we were fighting the Peo. They were just trying to warn us. I felt like an idiot and this was a lot to take in. I am going to have to explain this to our advisors. And they are not going to like this one bit. I am going to have my work cut out for me. 

"So what do we need to do?" I asked with confidence. 

Jakein looked directly at me and gently cupped my face. He leaned in and whispered in my ear. Immediately, the hair on my neck stood up. 

"You are going to have to get me out of here first.

Well hello there! It has definitely been a hot minute since I have written anything. And I do sincerely apologize.

But as everyone knows we are still in a "PanDulce" over a year later...ugh....

So I thought I'd strike this up and continue to write again.
