Jake was busy helping giving the food, things were going smoothly until a car pulls up making the sound of tears screeching echo through the place. "Hands up, po-lice." The man laughs jumping out the car making his way towards Jake and the rest of the food. "Put your hands up." One of the man yells at Jake and the rest of them  holding his gun up. "Whoa-whoa" Jake says raising his hands. " Hey, hey, just stay cool." Jake adds. "We cool. You stay cool." The man replies back the men sounding him holding their guns up. "We're just gonna take all this food." The same man form before adds, "All the food." the other adds. "Xander, make yourself useful and help load the truck." The man says and makes room for him to go by, "Xander? Is that the kid who broke in here?" Jake asks making eye contact with the boy. "Yeah. He both stupid and crazy." Trey explains. "Yo, Trey, let me shoot this cop." the guy next him says, Finally giving his name away. "You shoot him, every cop outside'll be in here in 5 minutes." Xander explains. "I know you not trying to play hero right now." the guy who was holding the gun close to Jake says looking over at Xander losing his concentration, allowing Jake to bend his arm back and grab the gun.

"Now it's your turn." Jake said aiming the gun at Trey followed by the rest of the cops which made the gang raise their guns too. "Hands up." he adds. " You shoot me, my gang shoots everyone." Trey says waving his arms around. "That's right. Starting with the cops. Then those sweet people waiting in line. What a mess it would be." Trey explains. "Doesn't have to be." Jake pauses. "If we let you go, you just take the food... No one needs to get hurt, OK?" He explains looking over at him. "Feels right... Yeah. That feels real right." Trey muses. "Stand down." Jake says. "Stand down!" He repeats and this time they listen. "Load 'em up!" the man next him yells and everyone grabs the food loading it up, once finished Trye gives jake one last look and yells "Get in the trucks and let's ride! " One of the guys yells. "Let's go, let's go, let's go!" The same man yells once they've finished loading every last box up. "Thank you so much for your cool-headed role in this transaction, Officer." Trey says towards Jake. " Transaction?" Jake questions. Mm-hmm." Trey hums. "You stole food from hungry people. And you're gonna pay for that... Actually, they're gonna pay for it." Jake explains growling. "That's the point." Trey says getting in the car and starts the engine. "See you around." He smiles slamming the door shut and takes off. Just as Jake turns away kicking the traffic gate down.

Groaning Kelsey tries bringing her hand up to touch her head only to realise that her hands had been tied together. Groaning once more she opened her eyes to be greeted by the bastard himself. "Hello darling" He smiled. "Welcome back" he growled. Looking away from his stupid face, she now slowly raised both her hands to her head and touched the spot that felt cold, hissing she she pulled her hands back to be greeted with blood simmered fingers. Well fuck she thought and looked back at the guy. "Asswhole" She muttered loud enough for him to hear, taking a few strands forward he was about to speak when he was cut off by the van pulling up. "Victory" Trey shouts as he gets down, "Place the food boxes in the storage room and start working on the charge prices for each one" she heard him say and then he appeared. "Lucas" he greets the guy and then turns towards Kelsey only for him to stop and turn back to Lucas. "Whats this" He says he voice dangerously low.

"She tried to escape so I showed her what happens when you don't listen." Lucas stated like it was nothing. Trey turned back around to the girl and then back to Lucas. "Fine." was all he said before asking into the shop.

Jake was walking back to the hospital with a box in his hands when he came across a gated parking space seeing a figure he turned and spotted Pearson. "Pearson." getting now response he walked through the open part of the gate and tried again. "Damn it, Paul, stop." He paused to see if he'd turn, with no avail he tried again this time louder. "Yo! Pearson! Hey! Where the hell were you, man, huh? I needed you back there at the drop." this time it worked, although after he saw the view in front of him he wished it didn't, he wished he carried on walking. "I don't think I'd have been much help." Pearson said, the lower part of his face covered with blood his body slightly slummed.  "I'm sorry, man." Jake sighs shaking his head. "You should've told me" He said hearing the prier officer cough. "Why? You know some special cure?|" Pearson said. "Let me take you to the hospital...OK? We'll get you some meds...Help you through this." Jake tried, he couldn't face this happening to one of the people he had come to like in this hell whole.

"You don't think I know what's happening to me?" Pearson said and pointed the gun he had to his side at Jake. "Take it easy, take it easy." Jake said holding his hands up a horrible feeling growing at the pit of his stomach, "I know how this ends. So, don't give me some crap about helping me." Pearson bluntly stated. "OK." Jake replies lightly nodding his head. "I'm the only one that can help myself." Pearson said turning the gun towards himself placing it on his temple. "That's not true." Jake tries but stops midway once he sees him moving the gun. " No, Paul, Paul. Hey." Jake tried taking a step closer seeing the man hesitate "No, no, look at me, look at me." He said "Put the gun down, man.OK, you don't want to do that." he tried his face paling. Slowly Paul retracts the gun and look over at Jake as he speaks " It's good." he assures him as he sees the gun is further away from his head. "You're right." Pearson pauses placing the gun back to his temple, "I don't." He finishes. "Paul" Jake shouts and goes to step but is stopped buy the loud loud of a trigger being pulled followed by the sound a body falling.

Outside the Cordon Lex was facing the aftermath of the gangs actions after speaking to Lommers and getting no-where he tried the chief. "We can't keep taking orders from someone that thinks our people are statistics." Lex says following the chief out to the parking area. "What are you suggesting?" the chief said looking over his shoulder. "Get her out of there.Go over her head...Do something." He tried. "Get her out of there? We're taking orders from her. That's the way this works." Chief explained, "The only people whose jobs are threatened right now are yours and mine." he continued, "What, so, we're just supposed to take it?" Lex says sounding astonished. "I don't like broccoli, but my doctor says eat it, so I do." The chief said now coming to a stop facing him. "Come on, Chief...I lost an officer in there today." he pauses

"People begging me to let him out and me following orders like a good soldier. I gotta say, sometimes I think those Feds are rowing in a different direction." He finishes his eyes staying at the higher ranking officer in front of him. "Lex, think about who you're messing with. You know what these Feds can do? Anything they want... Fire you without cause... Suspend your pension... Force your boss into early retirement." the chief says and looks over at him. "Nobody's gonna fire you because I'm a pain in the ass." Lex explains not understanding why they can't to anything, "You work for me, son. That makes you the pain in the ass I have to answer for... And right now, I'm telling you to take a beat and let cooler heads prevail." The chief said this time not backing down his voice stern. "And whose heads are those?" Lex says matching his tone. "I don't know, but they ain't rollin'." The chief said placing his cap on his head and made hi way to his car.

Inside the cordon Jake had finally made it back to the hospital and was greeted by his second job. He had to burn the bodies that came in today. After everything he let his mind wonder off to everything has happened today, losing the food, the little girl, the gang. Walking into the burner room he was greeted with 3 bodies one had a small teddy on top. He walked slowly towards it and picked the teddy up in his arms. "Fuck" he let out sliding down the wall."Why " he muttered to himself letting the tears fall. After a while a self-loathing he sat up angry wiping the tears away.  Before he could do anything else Katie knocked on the door. "Jake." She said almost sounding disappointed. "Sorry," She said stopping once more, "I thought Kelsey would be here with you." she finally said what she thought.

"Kelsey?.. No she's not, I only came in an hour ago- wait why would she be here, Isn't she with you." Jake asked his eyes wondering to the woman in front of him her face failing to keep her calm, "Katie. What happened." He said slowly and deadly calm. "She went out, Jake I told her not too and she went anyways you know how she-" "When Katie." Jake cut her off not hearing anything else. "Almost 15 hours ago" Katie said looking down. Time seemed to slow down around him. She had been gone for 15 hours and hadn't come back. That enough time for her to get I'll and not come back. He looked up meeting Katie's gaze, coming to he conclusion that she was thinking...

She could be dead.
