Chapter 8: The second week of beacon

[roughly 10 years ago]

The burning women slowly crept over to me with that glass knife, half her face covered by black hair.

"Don't hurt my brother!" My sister yelled, still trying to pull me away.

"I'm not going to hurt him, just, keep him, for a while. Until he can make me something I have always wanted".

"DONT TOUCH MY FAMILY YOU BITCH!".

My dad came and tackled her out of nowhere, radiating a ice Auroa, and punching the flaming women in the face.

"DONT EVEN GO NEAR MY CHILDREN!".

There was a explosion, and my dad was thrown off her, and into the wall.

"Oh Steven, if you only told me what I wanted, you could have prevented all this".

She turned back to us, and 2 blades appeared in her hands.

"You could have saved your children, if you simply were willing to sacrifice your pride".

She raised her arm to strike at us, but my father got right behind her, and a green portal opened.

"Protect your sister! Protect your brother!"......

And that was he last thing I heard before he disappeared into the portal, dragging the burning women with him....

[Present day, 2 weeks after the party]

I shot back up form my bed, smacking my head against the bed above me, and groaning in pain. I was still sweating from the nightmare, and my heart was racing, but I was still tired from just waking up.

"Argh, What time is it?" I said waking up to my alarm clock, rubbing my slightly sore head.

I looked over to it, and squinted my eyes, looking at the time. 8:58 is what it read, less then 2 minutes before class starts.

"Damn, Everyone up!" I shouted already making my way to the dresser.

"I don't wanna get up...".

"My body's to sore...".

"Yang.....".

They all groaned in defiance, no one wanting to get up.

"But we have class today".

"I don't wanna..." Endar said, turning back in his bed.

"Guys there will be girls there. Team RWBY to be exact".

That woke them up, all slowly falling out of bed and landing in a row, and quickly rushing off to change. We all thew on our school uniforms, and rushed out the door, me still throwing on the jacket and Carth pulling up his pants. Sprinting down the hallway, I was still working on my utility belt, since I never left anywhere without it, even if most of its contents were empty at the moment.

"Guys, which way do we even go?" Said Endar, stopping in the middle of the courtyard.

"Let me check.... this way!" I said, pointing to building 4.

We all sprinted towards there, and bursted through the front doors. We kept running, and the janitors were up ahead, and we didn't have time to slow down.

"MOVE TEAM!" I shouted, running ahead and sliding under the robots legs.

Endar ran and kicked off the wall, dodging another janitor and catching up with me. Yin dove over the movable station in his way, rolling once he hit the ground, and while Carth simply just jumped over it, using his hands to propel himself forwards. We call regained our speed, and kept running towards our class. We looked ahead to see a robot trip, and spill his supplies everywhere, making a weird obstacle course.
