Chapter 12: Endars new friend

I woke up relatively late the next morning, with Weiss pounding on my door.

"Come on, let's get this over with".

"Argh, but I don't wanna....." I said, turning over in bed, and the pike girl my arms over the bed.

"I already have mojec with me, we need to find out what his weapon is".

"Fine mom!" I said, opening my eyes to a bright room.

I got up from my bed, and opened the door, slowly dragging myself to the closet.

"Put a shirt on (Y/n)!".

"You wouldn't say that if I was Carth!".

I closed the closet door and threw on my jeans, put on my belt, and then a t-shirt.

"Kid can you pass me my jacket?".

He slowly walked over to my coat rack, and pulled it off, slowly giving it to me, afraid of it almost.

"Relax, it's just a battle jacket".

After throwing that on, I holstered my blasters, and then my bow, and re opened the door. I threw my shades on, and pushed my hand through my hair, thinking about how we could start this kids training.

"Let's just get this over with.....".

We began to walk out towards the hallway, and turned a corner to the stairs, but Carth was there, talking to Ruby.

"This ain't going to look well..." I thought, trying to keep expression the same.

Weiss on the other hand, was clearly scared, and tried to hide behind me.

"We are so dead" she whispered to which I said that I agreed.

"Hey captain what's up, and hey Weiss? Why are you hiding?".

She nervously laughed, and came behind me, and said "oh nothing, I just uh, well I just dropped....this!" She said pulling out the emitter I used for the anti fang suit.

My eyes widened, and Ruby gave me a suspicious look, and then looked down to the kid. I quickly grabbed the device from her, and Weiss eyes widened to, but mojec had now stepped in front to introduce himself.

"Who's this?".

"Uh...." me and Weiss both said, looming to each other.

"That's one of....." she started, clearly not knowing what to say.

"That's one of my orphan mates from back home. He came it visit me since he got adopted. Always looked up to me as a big brother".

"No I don't, I just me-".

Weiss covered his mouth with her hand and laughed again nervously, starting to move to the side, away from Ruby and Carth.

"Uh, well we have to go...so bye!" I said with Weiss already out the door and me sprinting through it.

We kept running until we hit the armory, and we leaned against the wall, catching our breath.

"That's was close".

"Tell me about it".

"Hmm m nm nmo nm nmw?" Asked mojec, who was still covered by Weiss hand.

"Oh sorry".

She looked at her slobbered hand, and then to me, wiping it off on me.

"Hey! At least wipe it on my pants, I only have one jacket!".

"Sorry if I unconvinced you!".

"You're the one that walked in when me and Ospin were having a private conversation!".

"Why are you even a bounty hunt-".

"Wait! Where is the kid?...." I said, cutting her off.

I looked around and saw that he was nowhere in sight, but I did notice something missing, and my eyes widened in shook. I took of to the arena, with Weiss following right behind me.

"We have to find him before he tries out that gun!" I said, sliding down a hallway with Weiss trying her best to keep up with me.

"What did he take?".

"He took a weapon me and the engineering club were working on, it's uh..... well experimental....".

"How experimental?".

"Uh, railgun experimental...".

"YOU GUYS BUILT A RAILGUN?!?".

"Yeah, so....".

I heard a explosion in the arena, and we bursted inside, and saw mojec using it. It was a spear like weapon, but it's ranged mode turned into a rail gun, and well, railgun's are kind of known to be extremely dangerous to both the user, and victim.

"Mojec what are you doing?".

"I'm testing out this awesome weapon, duh, besides in already getting the hang of it".

"No you aren't, put that thing dow-".

He shot it again, and flew back, the shot redirecting back towards everyone, and towards Weiss. I jumped out of the way, by Weiss didn't, and I tackled her to the ground, the shot grazing my back. I shook form the energy, I had already pushed Weiss away, and Mojec and Weiss were laughing at my pain.

"Ha ha, very funny, now put that thing down".

"I think he is fine with it" said Weiss, having a smile and her arms crossed.

"Still think he will be good if he hits you with it?".

"Only if he hits you again".

"Yes! Let me line up my shot!".

He picked up the gun again, and shot it towards me, so I had to dodge to the side, and it bounced off the wall again, but in my direction.

"You got to be kidding me".

This time I took it head on, and I was frozen in place as the energy hit me, and I fell to the ground, having small muscle spasms while my healing unit kicked in.

"This isn't funny guys!".

"What isn't fun-".

Endar walked in, and as another shot of energy fired back off the wall, Endar quickly used his aura to slice the things in half, armor himself so he wouldn't get hurt. He sliced it with one heroic motion, and then took a breath from having to this basically point blank.

"What the hell was that?".

I pointed to mojec, and as soon as he saw the kid with the spear, he ran right up to him with the speed of light, excited someone was using his method of battle.

"Oh boy kid! Let me show how it's done, now put it in spear form for me".

He did as asked, and Endar smiled, pulling him to the side and showing him a proper swing.

"Why does he listen to you?" I asked, with Weiss walking over to help me up.

"Because this guy is so much cooler then you!" He said, thrusting his pear into a the air, as if going to hunt a Grimm.

Endar seemed to be enjoying himself a little much with this, and I rolled my eyes, and said "of corse".

"You guys can go! The cool guy can train me!".

"I'm fine with that!" Endar shouted back, pulling out his glaive, and showing some basic fighting moves.

"So, if Endars got him, what do we do?" asked Weiss, looking to me.

I shrugged and said "well we should probably stay with the kid, cuz you know, we don't want to get in trouble".

"Fair enough".

Me and Weiss then walked over to mojec, and together, we all started our training with him.
