Slexie- In high school

Chapter 4:

Lexi's POV:

Today is Mark and I's one month anniversary and we are doing great. We are still a secret and I don't think that anyone suspects anything.

We try the best we can to hang out during the week but we usually spend the most time together on Saturday mornings when I say I am going to the library. Sometimes during the week Mark and I can sneak off into an empty classroom but that can be risky. I am heading over to Mark's house now to celebrate and I am really excited.

I really think I am falling for him. And falling hard.

We have agreed to keep it low-key but doing anything with him makes my heart pound and my face automatically smile. I walk into his house to find him standing there with roses in hand.

I ran up and kissed him.

"Happy anniversary" he said with a huge smile on his face

We spent the next few hours together and in that moment all we wanted was to be there together

Mark's POV:

Today is Lexie and I's 2 month anniversary and we are doing amazing. Nobody knows that we are together but It is getting really hard to keep it a secret. She is just so amazing I want to show off to everyone that we are together. I am taking her out to dinner tonight to celebrate out of town.

I think I might be in love with her. Like real love.

I have never experienced these feelings before. Not for anyone. Yet somehow when she looks at me I just know that I want to spend all my time with her and have any part I can in making her happy.

Lexie's POV:

Today is the day. The day I confront Mark. He needs to know that I can't do this anymore. I can't be in this relationship if I can't be in this relationship in front of Derek and Meredith. It is time that we tell them. I am heading over to Marks house now to talk to him. We have been together for 3 months now and....

I know that I love him.

I don't know how he feels so I haven't said anything yet but I really hope he feels the same way.

"Hi" he says as I walk into his room

"Hey" I say right before he pulls me into a kiss. After we break apart I build up the courage to finally say something.

"Listen we need to talk"

"Okay" he said looking slightly concerned

"We have been together for about 3 months now and I have strong feelings for you" I t took everything I had not to tell him that I loved him

"I have strong feelings for you too" he said now looking relieved with a smile on my face.

"but I can't continue doing this.... doing us if we can't do it with my sister and Derek knowing."

"Okay"

"Okay?"

"Ya... I mean if I have to tell Derek to keep us in a good place and keep you happy. I will do it in a heartbeat."

I pulled him into another kiss this time deeper. We pulled apart

"I just have to talk to someone first okay?" he said keeping our foreheads together

"Okay"

We made out for a while but we stopped before it went too far. I was still a virgin and it just wasn't the right time, but I knew that the right time would come. Mark has been so patient and understanding so far but he is a guy and I don't know how much longer he will wait. I don't know how much longer I can wait.
