This is my longest completed story yet, And to be completely honest, I love this story.
But poor, poor Ebony.
Ebony just wanted her mistress's approval- The approval of a figure of authority. I know you guys might have hated her, she was one of the Villainess's of the story, She just wanted approval, It's sad really. But what is also sad is that there wasn't really anything much said on Ebony, and yet (from what I've heard) some of you hate her. She was really just misunderstood.

Shadow, He took the blame of Ebony's death, he saw her fall, he thought he killed her for a long time, and that all unravelled in this story. He would do anything for Crimson, He loved her. But even in death, they cannot be together. Again, It's sad.

Crimson, She loved Shadow, yet still went with Ebony herself. She was sexually confused for a while, which is why she went with Ebony. She lost her best friend through death, then gained her back by after death. When Shadow confessed to her that he killed Ebony, she broke and didn't eat or anything. Her mind too messed up to even comprehend what was happening when she was killed, otherwise, she would have survived- she dealt with that sort of thing on a daily basis.

The figure that killed Crimson? It represented all the things that can lead someone to commit suicide. All the troubles, all the weight, everything.

The figure with the Amber eyes and Ebony's Mistress was supposed to be Carman, the Celtic goddess of evil magic.

Carman the Goddess of evil magic, Banshee, Dullahan, and Puca are all a part of Celtic Mythology. Before starting writing this, I already knew Puca, Banshee and the headless horseman, who turns out to actually be the Dullahan.
It is said that if you hear a Banshee scream, that it is a sign of death.
Puca is a shapeshifting faery,  who could become black horses, rabbits and goats. They were also considered bringers of good and bad fortune.

I hope this cleared up any things not covered by the story.

I have to give credit to Derek Landy, the writer of the Skullduggery Pleasant novels and The Demon Road series. Without this amazing, funny, Irish writer, The dullahan would have never been in this story, and this story would have never existed.

Thanks for reading friends, feel free to tell me which bits you hated and which bits you loved, And who your favourite character is and why.

Stay alive, and stay awesome my readers
