Sisters by my side,
No longer secretly
Hurting deep inside.
Theres still some complications
People still telling lies
But heck, thats life!
I ignore their voices
They've already made their choices
No going back
After something like that
I have a Romeo
Who by me, will stand
Kisses my head and holds my hand
Promising never to let go
Never lets any weakness show
I laugh with the friends
That stayed true to the end
I look back and wonder
Why was I so upset again?
I didn't lose much
Just avoided more pain
I brought out the sun
Before it could rain
It wasn't worth my time
but at least now I know how to fly
Having the time of my life
