Chapter Thirty Five

Kevin's P.O.V

Everything around us was felt like it was going in slow motion. I watched as Andy held Izzy's slowly beating heart in his hand. It all happened in a blink of an eye. I saw the color drain from Andy's face and his eyes roll back.

Izzy's lifeless body slipped out of my hands as I rushed to catch Andy before he hit the ground. He felt heavier, too heavy if I may add. Everything about him has changed. And him killing Izzy?!

"I tried to warn her" came a thick Jamaican voice from the top of the stairs. I looked up and saw a lady.

"Tired to warn her? Why?" I asked, trying to keep Andy from falling.

"The moon goddess is nothing to mess with child and she did more then that. But thats a story for another day. Now its time for you to go." She said walking down the stairs towards me and Andy.

"Go? Go where?" I frenetically asked trying to hold Andy's heavy unconscious body up.

"The time is soon arriving and I'm afraid you won't make it back on ti8m." She smiled and ran her hand over Andy's bright hair.

"The time for what?" She just chuckled and shook her head.

"You have too many questions." She smiled. "We have no time for that."

"I'll tyk ya home." Before I could ask anything she started chanting in a foreign language.

Her eyes went from brown to pure white. Everything around me looked so fussy, it was as if the earth was vibrating. Everything turned black and I was back at home with Andy in my arms.

I know, I should be scared but I wasn't not even a little bit. All I could think about was what happened to Izzy. I never took Andy as the violent type. He looked so sweet and innocent.

"Ke-Kevin?" Andy's groggy voice pulled me out of my thoughts.

"Kevin it hurts!" He whimpered. I looked at him and he was holding his baby bump. I felt like I was in a trans and I was frozen.

"Kevin! Please help me. It hurts" He sobbed. I felt something like water pooling below him, that made me snap of my trans.

I carried him to the basement where the birthing equipment was located. I ran so fast it was a miracle, I didn't trip and fall. When I approached the glass door it automatically opened. I placed Andy on the bed.

"It's going to be okay baby." I reassured him as I took his clothes off and helped him into the hospital shrub.

"I'll call Lilian right now okay just hang in there for me okay?" He nodded but that didn't stop the hold scream that came from his lips.

Lilian where are you? I need you in the birthing room right now!

Alpha is that really you? I'll be right there.

Well hurry the fu-

Before I could complete my sentence Lilian came rushing into the room with a big smile on her face. Her presence here made Andy's sobbing louder. He didn't stop squirming.

"You found him!" She cheered.

"Lillian there's no time for that!" I growled when Andy let out a loud scream of pain.

"Yes. I'm sorry." She rushed to Andy's legs and placed them on the contraption that kept his legs wide open.

"Aaaahhhhh! Please make it stop!" Andy screamed. "It hurts so bad!"

"It's going to be okay baby just breath for me." I calmly stated. Grabbed my hand and squeezed on it.

He chuckled nervously. "Yes. I'm doing good." Lillian pulled on a glove and looked at me for reassurance and I nodded.

"Luna I'm just gonna have a look down here okay?" Lillian smiled and Andy nodded. She disappeared behind the shrub placed on his thighs.

"Well from the looks of it your birth canal has developed so beautifully." She smiled. Andy hadn't stopped sobbing.

"Aaahhh! I can feel it coming out. It hurts Kevin!" He sobbed, squeezing the life out of my hand. At that moment I felt nothing all I could do was look helplessly watch as Andy's face twisted in pain.

"You have such irregular contractions but you can push if you feel the need to Luna." Lillian softly said. Goddess bless her for keeping her composure because if it wasn't for her I would probably be freaking out.

"Aaahhhh!" Andy screamed and his face twisted in more pain. His panting got louder and louder.

"Ahhhh!" His deafening scream, made my ears ring. His body jerked forward, he hunched over and let out another ear piercing scream. Everything in the room shook so violently.

A gust of wind blow into the room. It was so strung I struggled to stay standing. A thick liquid splashed onto my face. The smell of blood filled the air and so did Andy's voice. It was as if the life was being sucked out of his body.

I didn't even feel when he crushed my hand. I felt numb, my mate was dying because of me and there's nothing I could do about it, nor could I stop it. He's about to leave me and I didn't even get the chance to hold him in my arms, like a mate is supposed to. I failed to protect him and here I am failing again.

"Oh my God!" I heard Lilian scream. I quickly wiped the liquid off my face, which I assume is blood.

The sound of wings flapping filled the room and so did Andy's pants. "Kev-Kevin?" Andy whimpered. "What's wrong?!" He screamed. I couldn't stop starring at him. My feet felt like I had weights on them. My brain went blank, I think my heart stopped beating.

"Alpha!" Lilian shouted, but she felt like she was miles and miles away from me. Andy looked like he was getting far away. I felt like I was falling into an abyss. The darkness slowly consumed my body. I tried to reach for Andy only to feel his hand slipping from mine.
