Chapter Thirty One

Kevin P.O.V

"Kevin we've been moving for days we need to get some rest." Josh panted.

"I'm not resting until I find Andy. If you want to rest then it's fine by me. I'm moving forward with or without you!" I growled.

"Kevin I know you're determined to find Andy and as are we. But think about it Kevin. What if Andy is in trouble and he needs our help. We can't help him if we're worn out." Mandy pleaded.

"Ugh fine!" I rolled my eyes.

"So are we gonna kick it animal style?" Josh asked with nothing but sarcasm.

"What do you think?" Mandy sassed.

"What?! You guys must be fucking crazy." He chuckled. He looked and our expression and his smile fell.

"You guys actually think that I'm going to sleep in the middle of the forest?" Mandy and I walked away from him. "Where the hell are you guys going?"

"We're going to shift in to our wolf form so we can get some sleep!" Mandy shouted.

"What is wrong with you people? I'm not sleeping in the forest, do you know--"

"Can you please shut up! You wanted us to rest and now you're complaining?!" Mandy growled.

"Listen Mandy calm down. Obviously alpha Josh here has yet to go to alpha training." Mandy threw her hands up and sighed.

"Stop being a fucking pussy! No one forced you to come with us. You made the choice to help Andy. Now shift and get some fucking sleep!" Mandy growled.

Damn I've never seen her this pissed before.

"But-"

"If I hear one word from you. I will personally cut off your balls and shove them up your ass!" Mandy growled dangerously.

I couldn't help but snicker and feel sorry for Josh.

"You!" She pointed at me.

"If it wasn't for you, Andy wouldn't have been in this mess in the first place. All you needed to do is keep your dick in your pants. But you couldn't." She growled.

"If anything happens to Andy and those pups, I swear I will kill you myself!" She hissed and stormed away.

I couldn't help but feel bad. She was right. If it wasn't for me, Andy wouldn't be in this situation. My sweet beautiful Andy. I'm so sorry for failing him. Fuck! Why didn't I just wait for my mate.

"Kevin don't beat yourself up about this. It was an honest mistake. I should have been there to stop you but I wasn't. Beating ourselves up about this won't bring Andy and the pups back. You need to be strong for him and our pups!"

"But I can't help it Max! It's all my fault. I'm the reason why Izzy came into our lives. Mandy is right."

"I know and yes she is right but we can fix it by finding him and making things right."

"Do you think we're going to find him?"

"I can still feel him. He's alive but he's scared."

"I fucked up big time!"

"Shift so you can get some rest. I'll stay awake and keep a look out"

"Falling asleep is really hard without him in my arms."

"Trust me I know. Now time to get some rest."

I stripped and folded my clothes. I focused on shifting and let Max take over. Max laid his head on his head on top of my clothes. Everything went dark and I fell into a not so peaceful sleep.
