Why have you forsaken me?
Oh Haditha,
You've left me for the savages
to maul me,
As i stand uphill,
Searching for your wonderful sight,
I can't catch a gleam of the light you shine bright,
Your shadow is all i see.I seek to get refuge in thee,
Though you hurl darts at me,
The snares of the evil one have drifted you far from me,
Your mind intoxicated with his piercing words,
Do not listen to the poisonous tongue.
In distress you've left me,
Oh Haditha,
Now in the dungeon i am locked
where no throne i can seek,
For your taming love is no more. Please hear my petition,
That i may seek once glory in your eyes,
Maybe i hope too much,
So you can seize my darkened mind,
Make it fairer,
Like a blooming garb.Oh Haditha,
Come back,
That i may regain my lost glory.
