A/N Image of Cada except he'd have the bird beak, bird talons and the classic sharp yellow eyes of a wild chamrosh. He's also larger than a normal wolf and probably a little more muscular than that but his frame would have to be light to fly. All credit to the artist I just copied the picture from google. Flying back towards the village he had grown up in was making Alec feel ill. He did not like the aura the place gave off, like a beautiful house that was actually rotting. However he had made a promise both to Cada and his sister, he intended to keep them.

Cada was a little less composed than usual and if possible even quieter. "Are you okay," Alec asked him having to shout over the wind. The sky was dark now and the usual chill of the night had settled in. High above the moon glowed with light, not warm but comforting which at least gave some indication of what they were flying over.
"Nervous, I don't know if I can teach the tamed the ways of the wild again," the chamrosh sighed a little forlornly.
"Well you seem like a great leader to me. If anyone can do it you can. Now it's the big house on the hilltop," he gestured spotting his family home.
We landed on the roof with a clatter and I dismounted, looking for a way to climb down. The thought of a daring climb did not bother me at all, in fact I was looking forward to it. Years of climbing trees had taught be a lot about finding the right places to put your hands and feet.
The village below was in uproar with nobody knowing quite what to do about all the missing men and the suddenly un-missing and dangerous young hybrid in their midst. Alec predicted he probably had ten minutes before they stormed the house looking for him pitchfork's raised.
"Take to the skies Cada, I'll meet you at the at the stables."

Alec beckoned to one of the nearby trees which extended it's branches toward him. It seemed odd to him, having so much command over the life around him. His sheer power was a little worrying and he hoped that he'd find it's limits soon. After all leshies weren't God's they couldn't be omnipotent surely.
The elm tree carried him down to the second floor window which he climbed through. "Err thanks," he mumbled feeling slightly awkward by talking to a tree. Yet he could have sworn he felt a rush of happiness from the tree but that was just wishful thinking surely.
Staring at his old room was a shock to the system. He should have known that his stepmother would have jumped at the chance to create a whole new space for her. Still standing in the forest of rich furs and lethal weapons was disheartening. His room had been a little cold and impersonal but it had been his. The once safe space had been sullied by Malicia's frost that seemed to have crept over everything.
He fled the room and crept as quietly as he could through to Arwen's room, hesitating a little at the door. Alec had just killed their father, could he really face his poor innocent sister? Yes because he had made a promise to her and he intended to keep it. Still turning the handle was going to be tough.
Arwen's room hadn't changed thank God. There was still the sky blue wallpaper and grass green rug to simulate the outside. Books still spilled from every corner spilling over the white shelves that were supposed to represent the clouds. In the centre was the four poster bed with a candle holder on each post to allow for late night reading. She said the stories seemed more lifelike at night when the castors magic was down and it seemed like anything could happen.
"Alexander!" She squealed as she caught sight of me, her crystal eyes twinkling like far off stars. As she dashed over to me her sheet of silver hair bounced, a feature many were jealous of. The sheer variety of the hair colours in the Jinx family was also a subject of envy among the town people. From Alec's raven hair, to Malicia's honey coloured hair, to Arwen's silver hair it was a mystery of genetics.
Her warm wrapped around his waist in a fierce embrace for where he was tall and slim in build she was shorter and more muscular. Suddenly a great wave of calm washed over him like the soft surf of the great seas. It was that familiarly comfortable effect she had on everyone and he felt the sudden urge to spill all of his troubles to her, knowing she'd be the perfect sympathetic ear.
"Arwen," he greeted breathing in the scent of her lavender shampoo. "I came back as I promised. Though I fear under far different circumstances."
"I thought you'd left me when you ran away," she sniffled her age suddenly showing. Her wisdom and refined look made her seem much older than eleven.
"Never Arwen you're too important to me. Especially now..." he mumbled the last part.  The memories of his other constant companion from his time with the castors was too painful to voice aloud.
"But where have you been all this time?"
"I've met some wonderful people Arwen that took me in as one of their own. Phoebe, Fai and Fern all two hybrids like me and a witch."
"A witch aren't they evil," she said slightly fearfully biting her lip with concern.
"No and neither are any other cursed's remember I'm half of one. They're great people really and they've helped me realise I'm a leshy." She mulled that over a torrent of emotions marching across her face.
    "Okay what about the others?"
"Well Fai's an Illuceo and just gives off so much light and warmth. He's around my age though can act older probably because he had to grow up fast. Whereas Fern is half werewolf and half Earth bear a strange combination. Such a sweet girl you'd like her though e're not really sure of her age yet." She smiled as she saw the hapinness in her brothers face, it was something she'd not seen on him often. In fact she didn't think she'd ever heard him talk this much. It was...nice.
"Oh Earth bear's are great there's one in my book A griffin's Tale!"
"I forgot to ask about that thing. You've read it from back to front uncountable times and could probably recite it. Why'd you like the thing so much?"
"Marcus Glade the griffin rider always reminded me of you," she said almost bashfully. Alec reflected on that for a moment and they sat in comfortable silence. Alec always evaluated his relationships with people on whether he could share a comfortable silence with them.
"Ar you're going to hear a lot of bad things about me but I want you to ignore them okay? You know I wouldn't do anything I drastic for unjustifiable reasons right?" He asked nervously. He didn't want his image in her mind tarnished. She simply nodded feeling there wasn't a need to speak on the subject her belief was that strong.
"Good, now I'm going away for a while but I will visit again when I get the chance. It's just I've got a feeling that things are going to get crazy for a little while."
"Thank you Alex for everything. I hope to see you soon and that you continue to be as happy as you are now. You look so regal when you smile." He nodded and turned to leave when Arwen called him back like the last time he saw her. "The brownies missed you," she giggled. "They've been throwing fits for weeks and nobody can seem to do anything about it."
