No one's P.O.V

She hurriedly drove home. Her and her best friend lived together. This was perfect for her because she really needed a shoulder to cry on. Who other than a best friend?

She reached into her purse and grabbed her keys jingling them into the key whole before the door finally opened. She put her things down and called for her best friend.

"Lamia --" She called repeatedly. "I need you. I need my best friend."

Lamia came out of her room where she heard all the commotion. "Yes, yes what's the emergency?"

"H--e-he-- cheated on me." She began to sob again into her best friend arms. "He got someone else pregnant Mia how can I be so gullible?"

"Lia its not your fault for being so forgiving. That's the type of person you are and you can't beat yourself up about it. If you can't change the people around you change yourself."

She sighed knowing her best friend was right. She shouldn't cry over something that she forgave multiple times and still messed up. She knew she had to change.

Elia got up and went to the restroom as she saw her red puffy eyes. She just hated the change in her had to be so soon.

Elia P.O.V

Its been about a week or two since me and Brandon ended that thing I called "love". I really can't say I've been feeling to well. I mean not everyday you get the news that the love of your life is having a child with someone else. But, I feel so much better.

"Elia can you come shopping with me? You haven't been out in a week tops." I groaned. I lied I haven't been feeling the best and I'm still not. I have completely excluded myself from the outside world. I feel like making contact with the outside world will only hurt me in the long run.

"For?" I questioned.

"To shop duhh -- to get your lazy self off the couch and outside. You've been eating ice cream non stop and you need to fix yourself, and I'm here to help."

All the things she was saying was the truth and I couldn't believe it. I've been eating ice cream possibly gaining a few pounds. "Find I'll go. Just because I'm being pressured."

I got up and picked out my Nike joggers. A white T-shirt and my Jordan's.

"Mia -- I'm ready." I yelled towards her room.

"Okay let's go." She responded. "We're taking your car by the way."

I let out a huff before I grabbed my keys and we left to the mall.

No one's P.O.V

"Mia you know we can't do to much shopping. I have a lot of studying to do." Both girls attended the University of Kentucky (UK) together.

"Yeah we are, because you're going to this party on campus with me today. You need to relax Lia and I guess a party is the only way you can relax." Elia made no response as her friend dragged her into Forever 21.

Elia started to look around. "Uhh -- Mia is it a casual party or a fancy thingy?"

Lamia let out a laugh. "Its casual and it'll be hot with a lot of bodies so maybe some shorts?"

"I guess. Maybe, just maybe some shorts Mia. Not a guarantee."

Both friends continued to look around before they finally found out what they wanted to wear to the party. Lamia was just happy she would be getting her best friend out of the house. She knew that's all she needed.
