Devin P.O.V

Me and a few of the other guys just declared for the draft. We all felt like it was the best thing for our lives.

I'm not forcing Bri to move to where ever I end up going. What type of person would I be? So, me I'm just going to make sure my love ones are straight.

My boy Ty ain't enter the draft. He promised his folks he'll stay in school as long as he could. So, he said he'll stay another year or two.

"Ight y'all we gotta do this party today. No stalling."

All the guys agreed. It was time to show UK what a real party felt like.

••••••••••
"I had John go out and get the cups and drinks." Being as most of us were 19 through 20 we weren't allowed to go buy drinks.

John was though. He had just turned 21 last month. Lucky us!

"Ight let's get this DJ thing going. We don't want no lame ass DJ though. Somebody that can turn the party up. Y'all this party must be litty."

Finals is like in a week or two. Why not turn up before misery strike's?

I'm deciding to wear a full Nike jogger suit to the party with some Jordan's. Its simple.

I know everybody else about to come over dressed then look a fool later on when they're drunk off their ass.

"Ty man you sure you can't come?" I questioned.

"Lamia want to chill in the crib. I'm just going to take us uptown to visit her parents."

"Well look at you playing daddy."

"Look D I'm not playing 'daddy'." He put air quotations around daddy.

"I am daddy now, and I can't do nothing but be daddy now I have a child now D."

I knew Tyler always wanted a child. But, every bitch he ran into was a setup I guess he felt the difference in Lamia that he didn't have to wear a condom.

"Well, I don't plan on being 'daddy' or playing 'daddy' anytime soon. I see where you coming from. But, a kid ain't for me at this stage in my life."

"Yeah I know. I'm out thou' I'll hit yo line later," he said those last words and walked off.

Ty knew me to know I wasn't bashing him for getting someone pregnant. I just don't see it happening to me. My mom always told me protection is the key.

Its the key to anything..... Sex, life, and relationships.

"Everybody enjoy," was the last thing Devin said into the mic before the DJ took over the party.

It was a madhouse. Everyone dancing on random people. People taking one another to a room. That's exactly what Devin expected.

What he didn't expect was to Elia there. There she was his worst nightmare looking like a million bucks.

She had on the fitted olive green two set dress and some all black red bottoms. Elia turned around and his eyes followed her as she approached a guy.

His skin was itching. He knew the guy, and he knew he wasn't no good for her. But, neither was he...

Elia back was facing him and boy was her figure any mans dream.

"Hey baby. Nice party." He was thrown away from his trance by the sound of his girlfriend voice.

"Oh, my bad thanks." He trailed off on his words.

"Okay I'll catch you when I catch you." She walked off.

1hour later

A grinding song came on and everyone was cheering someone on in the middle of the circle. Devin made his way to the crowd and there Elia was. Dancing her drunk ass off.

He quickly went in and yanked her by her arm. "What the hell you think you're doing." He semi-yelled in her ear.

"I--im having fun." She slurred over her words.

"Dev-- oh, your with this bitch." Bri said.

"Bri not now. She's drunk I have to take her home."

"For? This bitch need her own man."

"B--bitch," Elia slurred again. "I'm not a bitch and I don't want your man."

"Oh bitch please you do."

Devin shot her a death glare that could burn a whole through the side of her face.

"I do. Yeah that's what I told your man when he was licking between my legs or, or, maybe when he whispered in my ear that my pussy was better than yours when we went 3 hours straight. Or, just maybe when he said he love me. But, I don't know I could just be 'wanting your man'."

Devin looked at Elia like she was crazy because half of that wasn't try. Matter a factually most of it wasn't true.

"You know Devin told me he like when I call him 'daddy' and when I leave them scratches on his back."

Bri jumped at her, but Devin stopped her.

"Oh, so you're protecting your little bitch?"

"No, I'm protecting her because she's drunk and she doesn't know half the things she's saying. Lets go Lia now."

He practically dragged her out the party by then. He put her in his car then got in and sped off. He knew he had to get her to her house ASAP.
