Tyler P.O.V

"Oh my god I wish you guys stop playing." Here we are putting everything together for our party and these goof balls want to spray water at each other.

"And, I wish you would live a little. Yo ass is so uptight." My best friend Devin yelled at me. He don't believe I'll knock him out because he's taller than me.

"Yeah keep talking shit and you probably won't wake up tomorrow."

"Is that a threat Mr.Ulis?" He held his hand up to his chest.

"No. Take it as a promise." With that we both turned around. Him playing his kidding games and me being the adult out of all my friends.

Elia P.O.V

"Okay Lamia we can leave now." I pleaded for like the tenth time. Its already bad enough I don't want to go. Now this heffa want to take all day.

"I'm coming Lia goddd --." She walked out her room. She said casual, but she looked like casual with a little pizzazz. "Ready Freddy?"

I let out a huff. "Yes I'm ready."

No one's P.O.V

Both friends walked in with each other. Lamia walked in first bringing attention with her long legs standing at 5'5. While Elia was just standing at 5'2.

"Okay Lia I'm going to find Tyler. You just have fun." Lamia walked away leaving her best friend in the dust.

Elia walked to the nearest stool and took a seat. Around the area she was sitting at it smelled like nothing but booze, and weed. Not to mention a couple basically having sex in the corner.

Elia turned to someone who had their eyes burning a whole into the side of her head. Her eyes meet with famous Kentucky basketball player Devin Booker. He walked towards her and her cheeks flushed. Although no one could tell because of her dark skin tone but she was blushing.

"Hey, what's your name?"

"Elia." She said with pride.

"Well, I'm Devin."

"I know who you are. I'm not new to the school. Plus its not hard to miss you." She spoke.

"Aw -- prideful and cocky. I like that." He inched closer.

"Yeah me too. But, you're getting a little to close. Don't you think?" She looked up at the tall light figure hovering her.

"There's no such thing as to close. Plus, our body hasn't come in contact 'yet'."

"Yet?" She put air quotation marks in the air.

"Yeah 'yet'." He did air quotation marks as well. "Elia me and you are going to see each other a lot more after this first meeting."

"Yeah, sure Mr.Booker." She got out of her seat and turned to leave.

"Uh -- Elia how you expect us to see each other again if we haven't exchanged numbers?" She let out a huff and put her number into his phone.

"Is this your real number Elia or are you just scamming me?"

"I don't know mister Devin Booker you'll have to find out when you use it." She winked at him then walked away.

Devin didn't take his eyes off of her beautiful figure. He knew she was something special.
