Chapter 4: He's Real! I promise!

Mabel woke up in a cold sweat. She looked around her room. And saw, her brother floating in the middle of the room.

"Dipper!?"

Dipper smiled, when mabel got up to give him a bone crushing hug, that would have cut of his breathing, if he had the need to breathe.

"Dipper! You're ok! I thought you were gone forever!"

"So did I." He stated smiling sofly.

"I was so scared!" She said, ignoring the fact that her brother was floating in the middle of the room.

Suddenly an idea popped into Mabel's head.

"Wait! I've gotta tell mom and dad!" She shouted.

"Uh... Mab-"

"They're gonna be so happy to see you!" She said running out of her room, ignoring what her brother begun to say.

She ran down the stairs quickly, and ran into the kitchen where her parents were talking.

They looked shaken when they saw their little girl who came home depressed and now was in front of them bouncing and smiling.

"Mom! Dad! Look!" She said pointing to Dipper who floated behind her.

"Um... honey... what are you pointing to?" Anna asked in concern.

"Dipper, Look!" She grabbed his hand and dragged him in front of her. "It's Dipper! Look! He's ok!" She shouted.

Mark and Anna exchanged concerned looks.

"Mabel," Mark begun, he knelt down to her height and set his hands on her shoulders.

"Look I know this is hard for you, and it is for us too. But Mason is gone"

Mabel looked back at her brother, who was cringing at the sound of that name.

"No, He's right there!" She said pointing to her brother.

Mark looked back at his wife for some kind of cue on what to say. Anna looked frightened and concerned. Mark sighed.

"Ok Mabes, just go back to bed" He said.

"You.. You don't believe me?" Mabel asked.

"Sweetie, I'm sorry if this is harder for you to take in than the rest of us, but, your brother is gone" Anna said solemnly.

Mabel looked up at them with tears starting to well up in her eyes, and she ran back upstairs to her room. Dipper following close behind.

(Long time no see huh m8s. Yeah sorry about that, I've been writing a lot recently, just not much for this story. I still plan to write for it. I just have other projects I also need to work on. So I'm sorry for the wait. I'll try to update more. -Mason)
