"Mr Queen?" Oliver heard a voice call his name. He turned around and found that the voice that was calling his name was a tall black man.
"Hi," the man said, putting his hand out for Oliver to reach and shake it, witch he did. "My name is Curtis, I work at Palmer Tech? Felicity knows me. Oh, congrats on your baby! I know that kids can be a handful, not that I have any," he rambled on for a bit longer before Oliver cut him off,
"What can I do for you Cutis?" Oliver said, trying his hardest not to leave.
"Oh, see it's not what you can do for me, but what I can do for you," he said with a smile on his face. He pulled out a tiny box and handed it to him. Oliver opened it, and found a small micro chip inside.
"Why would I need a micro chip?" He asked, taking the small piece into his hands.
"Because that can make you walk again." Curtis said.
~2 days later~
Oliver had told Felicity about the chip that could save his legs, and she knew that Curtis could make anything. So she gave the okay for the proceeder.
"You ready?" She asked. As Oliver went into the hospital.
He put his hand on her stomach and slowly rubbed his hands over it. "If my little girl can't have a dad to walk her down the isle, then there is going to be a problem, in sure, and if you trust Curtis, I do." He said.
"Okay, let's do this."
~7 hours later~
"Hey," Felicity said, knocking on the door to Oliver's room. He looked so tired, but he had a smile on his face.
"Hey," he said back.
"How are you feeling, you okay?" She asked him as she took his hand into hers.
"Yeah, I'm just tired, but Felicity, look," he said motioning to his legs, he moved them, they were moving.
She screamed in delight, and he laughed with her. Their baby girl was going to have a dad that would walk her down the isle.
~A week later~
Oliver sprinted as fast as he could. He was going to miss it, one of the most important things he has ever done in his life, probably the most thing ever.
Felicity's check up.
"I'm here!" He said burst through the door. "Just in time!" The nurse said,
Felicity said and giggled a bit when Oliver cake over and kissed her forehead. "How are you?" He asked Felicity.
"Fine, just excited to see our baby girl." She said. The nurse told her to lay down, and she did. She lifted up her shirt and the nurse the gel on her stomach. The nurse then took the wand and stated. And first, they couldn't see anything, but then, there was an image.
Oliver gasped. He had never seen really what his baby looked like. They had gotten a picture before, but there wasn't much to see, but now, he could see his child.
"Well, congratulations you two, you have a healthy baby girl." She said. Oliver had never heard such sweet words.
Healthy. Baby. Girl.
