"Where have you been?" Thea asked sharply at Felicity as she walked into the hospital waiting room.

Felicity spent all night looking and searching for Damian. She traced every know facility that was known to the police department, but nothing was found.

"Looking, and not finding anything." She said back looking at Thea.

Thea had tears in her eyes. Felicity had been like a sister to her, but after this, after all of this, Oliver, Damian, this whole mess, she could barley recognize her. She has been working her butt off ever since Oliver was shot. She barley sept and she didn't eat. Felicity had not even seen him after the accident. She would just text Thea and know from that.

"You should have been here," Thea said, her voice cracking as she wiped her tears.

Felicity looked down at her. This broken little girl no older than 22, had been beaten, kicked, and neglected by the world. Her life only contained lies and sorrow. Now her brother might die even before she gets the chance to say good by. Her brother, Felicity's husband.

"They..." Thea said trailed off to wipe some of the fallen mascara. "They can't fix him." she said trying very hard to keep it together.

"What, what do you mean they can't fix him?" Felicity asked, knowing that the answer could not be good in every case.

"The bullets went not only to his front, but at least 2 went to his spinal cord, and he..." Thea trailed off. "He's paralyzed for life."

Felicity stood still not moving. "But..." Speechless. There was nothing to say. "Can... Can I see him?" She asked.

"Yeah, he's in room 1918." Thea said wiping more mascara off her face.

Felicity went over to her and hugged her before she left. "Thank You, and I'm sorry, I just," Thea started. "You don't have to be sorry about anything." Felicity said back, "I should have been here." Thea nodded and let her go.

It wasn't a long way to the room. The hospital at night was cold, quiet, and just plain creepy. Finally she found room 1918. Doors closed.

She knocked on it quietly making sure not to wake any of the other people.

There he was. Red lines under his eyes, lips a shade of gray-blue and his face pale as the snow in winter.

"Hey stranger." He managed to croak out. Ever since he woke up, everything hurt. And about around 2 hours ago was when he woke up. The doctor told him about the spinal cord injury, so at the moment, the only person he wanted to see was Felicity,

"Hey, how are you feeling?" She asked back silently walked toward the bed.

"I'm tired and everything hurts, but I'm good." He said back with a smiled.

A tear slipped down his face when he looked down at her finger. The ring was still there.

"Hey! What's wrong?!?" Felicity asked.  "Did the doctor tell you?" Oliver said back. "Then you know what,"

Felicity sighed. "Everything happens for a reason. There can be a problem and a million people can never fix and so they live in that wrongness, but there can never be a million problems solved by just one person. Ever. We will  get through this, I promise. For better or for worst."

Oliver smiled for the first time as Felicity put his ring back on as she kept repeating, "how dare she." And as he repeated...

               "For Better or for Worst"
