Chapter three : contacting the Alpha

I stayed in the kitchen cooking a hot meal for him
I could hear him speaking but not what was said until he came into the kitchen with the phone and asked " I'm sorry I should have asked before I didn't get your name, but can you tell me where I am my brother is going to come and get me"?

Laughing at the slight reddish tinge on his face I said " my name is Melinda and you are in Raynham Massachusetts" I gave him the address which he repeated to whom I assume was his brother.

He thanked me and said his brother would be here within the next two hours, he told me their pack is from Maine, that his brother was flying into Providence and renting a car to drive to us.

I placed the food in front of him which he devoured in a flash
"Oh my gosh, licking his lips that's the best thing I've eaten in a very long time, thank you so much for all your help Melinda, I don't know how I will ever repay you".

"You can call me Mel most people do and you don't have to repay anything, just promise me to be more careful I would hate that creep to get his hands on you again".

He smiled nodding his head

" well, you should have time to take a shower if you want to wash up, I think I have some of my ex clothes still here they should fit you" he looked uncomfortable "oh don't worry it was stuff I bought for him before we ended our relationship and he has never worn them".

He seem to brighten at this and nodded saying he don't know what he did to deserve this but thanked his moon goddess for me helping him

I laughed giving him a plain black T-shirt , sweatpants and a black hoodie with black underwear and socks all with the tags still on them . " I don't have shoe's I'm sorry"

Logan shook his head and said he was fine as he took the clothes and walked to the bathroom. I had my CD player in there and heard the radio turn on playing cold by five finger death punch. I cleaned the kitchen humming the tune when there was a knock on the door I looked at the clock an hr had past since he called his brother and I wasn't expecting anyone, I took a deep breath and went to the door.
