Chapter 10

Logan seem to come out of nowhere and grabbed me before I fell.
"Mel are you ok? Oh my god that fucker shot you"
That seem to wake Sebastian up as he ran to me and shouted  "wtf were you thinking Mel, you can't just take on a hunter they'll kill you, I can't lose you I only just found you".

"In case you didn't notice he's the one that's dead not me, it will take a lot more than some sick fuck to take me out, besides he was pointing the gun at you I couldn't stand there and do nothing about it". I replied simply

He took me from Logan as if his life depended on it and carried me to the car shouted at one of his enforcers I'm so rude I don't even know the guys name yet.

As we got back into the car and started to drive again I felt sleep take me once more. The next thing I knew I could hear raised voices, I feel so weak what it happening to me, nope it's black well dang here we go again.

Sebastian POV

As I'm stroking Mel's hair I feel her head nod like she's not holding it up as I look down I see her blood has soaked her shirt through I shout to Erik my enforcer to floor the car we need to get to the pack doctor asap Mel was losing too much blood I am not losing her to a fucking wound.

Erik flood the SUV we got back to the pack house in record time I had already mind linked the doctor who was waiting for us with the OR  already prepped for their Luna.
They had already heard what she had done for Logan before we found she was my mate
But after me min linking they knew she'd also put her life in danger to save me as the packs Alpha that wasn't taken lightly.

The doctor made me wait outside she didn't want me in the way because every time they tried to touch her I'd growl I couldn't help it my mate was hurt what did they expect.

As I was sat outside the hospital wing my parents came walking down both my parents had wanted me to mate with a neighboring packs daughter I had refused just because she had lost her mate I hadn't lost mine I just hadn't found her yet so I wouldn't do it my mother was especially pissed at me as the current Luna was one of her best friends.

My father was the first to speak
"How is she son"?

I sighed " I don't know anything yet dad they won't let me in"

He looked as upset as I felt. It's a big deal when your children find their mates he wanted me to be as happy as he has been with my mother.
He patted my shoulder and said " from what I already understand about her she's a fighter and nothing is going to hold her back from her mate, it will be ok son".

I looked up grateful my father was a man of few words but when he spoke by goddess you listened.

My mother had yet to speak flashes of different emotions running over her face.
" what is it mom" I asked
She looked a little guilty but shook it off and said " Sebastian maybe this isn't meant to be, I mean Gloria is still inmates and she is a wolf, this girl is human what kind of life are you going to have"?

That was it I was sick of her meddling, may father looked like he was going to kill her but I got there first " how dare you speak about my mate that way, she maybe human but she has more character than your friends daughter will ever have, not only did she save your youngest son from a hunter tonight but she also saved my life and is now in there fighting for her because of it, I love you mom but frankly if you don't like the fact my mate is human you have no right being here because I WILL NOT give her up under any circumstances and if goddess forbid something did happen to her I would NEVER mate with anyone else".

I turned to my father and said " I mean no disrespect to you father but I need some air" I walked out leaving my stunned mother and my angry father stood there although I know his anger was not with me it didn't make me feel any better that my own mother didn't want me to be with my mate.
