Mel's POV

Wow I'm having the strangest dream ha ha ha I mean most of my dream are somewhat odd but this is just really messed up.
I'm laying down somewhere bobbing around I don't know if I'm in a car or a boat but it's kind of relaxing after the freak out of the wolf
Why the hell do I get these dreams, don't I get enough crap to deal with already I mean helping the dead isn't an easy job then I also have my paid job and my kid and dog
Shit it's no wonder I don't have time to go out with my friends I'm working four full time jobs.
What's going on why am I not waking up yet? I feel the darkened take me once more

Logans POV

Fucking lucky bastard
Don't get me wrong I love my brother but shit he always gets the best of everything I was kind of hoping I'd get to stay in touch with Mel if you know what I mean.
What not to want she's beautiful, kind, funny and fearless the perfect mate or in this case the perfect Luna.
Goddess I hope when I find my mates she's just as wonderful
Oh well I can handle friend and sista in wonder if Seb will turn her I can only imagine how beautiful her wolf would be.

I heard a noise oh shit Seb is in for it now she's awake
I slyly move Jordan toward the back of the SUV I'm assuming it's safer he just laughs and nods his head.

Mel's POV

I still feel like I'm bobbing around but I can hear Jordan laughing so know I'm awake
Wtf why am I sore "ouch"
Then I hear this velvet voice say " baby it's ok, everything is going to be fine, can you open your eyes sweetheart"?
I blink and see "oh my god, ...... it wasn't a dream" I reach out and slap him around the back of the head "how dare you do that to me" I look at him like I'm the grim reaper ready to rip him a new one and he looks nervous.

"Mel baby I'm so sorry it wasn't me it was my wolf he was scared you wouldn't want us or that you'd be taken by some other male"
Sebastian's face was sincere he looked kind of miserable so I thought I'd play with it for a while

"Oh I see how it is,   Blame your wolf for what you did, it's not like he can defend himself right now is it"? 
Sebastian's face went even paler if that's possible. I laughed and said "if you ever feel the need to do that again don't because next time I will beat the shit out of you wolf or no wolf
You may have a beast but I'm wild and have no problem giving it back".. he gulped and nodded

As i sat up properly he pulled me into his lap whispering he was sorry and was I ok
But as this was quite comfortable I nodded and snuggled in.

I mean dude who'd have thought getting bitten would have taken so much freaking energy I feel so drained.

The car lurched and slammed on the brakes

Sebastian has me in his arms so I didn't get hurt I look back and see Logan has Jordan in a  similar hold nodding to me he was ok
I look back and see some guy outside with a shotgun pointing at the car

Not again

We stepped out of the car, Seb put his hands up asking what was wrong the guy just grunted
He looked right at me and said
"Are you a dog too" looking at me with disgust

I looked at him confused and asked "I'm sorry sir I don't know what you mean"

He laughed and nastily said " girl you've no idea how lucky you are I stopped this car, you would have probably been dinner for these animals. Come here"
Pointing to his side I looked back Jordan was still in the car with Logan for that I was thankful I didn't want him seeing this shit.
I walked slowly over to the man when I reached him he sliced my arm with a silver knife and said "does it burn"?
I said "no but if fucking hurt"

I could see Sebastian wanted to rip him limb from limb. The look on his face was murderous I could see his beautiful blue eyes get a green tinge of his wolf flashing back and fourth.

The guy, I figured by this point is a hunter I look around and silently called to Vin to ask if there were anymore in the area. As always he answered me in my head no he was alone I silently thanked Vin
As the hunter raised his gun to Sebastian I slipped behind him and took out his legs, as he went down he dropped his shot gun I followed up by a punch to the temple and drew back it all happened so fast he pulled out a hand gun and shot me but thanks to my guardian angel Vin I knew what was coming and manage to evade a heart shot he did however get my shoulder I kicked his hand grabbed the gun and shot him in the head. As my adrenaline slowed I felt the pain in my shoulder.
Sebastian was still stood there open mouthed as if time has stood still although that is one of my talents it wasn't me this time I swear.
