After their training session, Sakura sighs as she and Sasuke were heading to their houses, Sasuke offered to walk her home while Naruto and Kakashi have ramen (again) though without the other two.
Sasuke had his hands in his pockets and he looked towards Sakura. Seeing that she was rubbing her stomach, he thought to himself, 'Maybe I should take her to lunch.'
He opened his mouth, though at the same time, Sakura opened hers as well. "Um, Sasuke-kun? Is it okay if you treat me to lunch?"
He gave her a small smile. "Hn. Sure." He answered and led her to a common restaurant down the street and a few blocks below. Sakura licked her lips and found herself craving for barbecue. "Wait, what do you want to eat, Sakura?" He asks.
"I want to eat barbecue." She answered. "I'll pay you after this meal." He smirks yet shakes his head. "No need. My parents won't mind me spending that much. Let's go." He says and they walk down to Yakiniku Q, the place where Team 10/Asuma eats as a team.
While their usual hangout place to eat was at Ichiraku Ramen, Team Gai's at the Curry Restaurant somewhere in these streets and Team Kurenai's is at a random restaurant.
Sasuke and Sakura continued walking until they saw the sign of Yakiniku Q. They enter the premises, removing their sandals and they take their seats in the left corner. A waitress approaches them and she inquired on what they wanted to order.
For starters, since they don't eat here often, they chose the basic one. Which is, Yakiniku Q's special bbq. The lady bowed down in respect and starts giving the order to the chefs. The two Team Kakashi members can hear meat cooking from the other tables.
At that moment, Sasuke knew, he was hungry too. "You're hungry as well, Sasuke?" She asks and he nods. "Well, now we're even." She mumbled.
NARUTO
Naruto was casually walking down the street towards his house when he suddenly bumped into someone or something. He shook his head rapidly and he gasped. "Hinata! Are you alright?" She nodded slightly, Naruto offers her a hand and he pulls her up.
"A-Arigatō, Naruto-kun." She said with a blush. "Hey Hinata-chan, what're you doing here?" He asks. "I was just gonna give you something..." She twiddled with her fingers and still had the blush under her cheeks. "Oh? What is it? Is it a present?" He hastily asks.
"N-No...but it's more like a tool..."
"A tool?" He narrowed his eyes in question. Hinata rummages through her pockets and brings out an ointment. "What's this?" Naruto accepts the tool from her hand and looks at it with curiosity. "It's an ointment...I-I figured you'd n-need it since you train a lot..."
Naruto shot her a wide smile, "Thanks Hinata! I appreciate it! But don't you need this too?" She shakes her head. "Y-You need it more than me." She murmured. "Okay. Thank you! Where're you gonna head off to, now?"
"Um...I don't know..."
Naruto rubs his chin in thought. "Would you like to come train with me?" Immediately, her face lightened up. "R-Really?" Naruto nods. "O-Okay...sure. Kurenai-sensei said that we can roam around and do stuff for awhile..."
"That's great! Come on! I'll show you the place where I train on my own! Would you like that?" She doesn't refuse and she lets him grab her hand in his own and lead her to the said spot.
On the way there, Naruto and Hinata happened to bump into a certain person. "Hinata! We were looking for you!" A voice hollered to them. Naruto abruptly stops and turned to the voice who called for the Hyūga.
It was none other than, "K-Kiba-kun..." She mumbled. "Kurenai-sensei suddenly called for us. I bet it's a mission!" He says and Hinata looked down. "You guys are going on missions already? I'm surprised!" Naruto exclaimed.
Kiba scoffed and a smirk plasters on his face, "Well that's because we're early learners unlike you!" Hinata ignored the insults Kiba threw at Naruto. The only person jealous of Naruto or despise Naruto is the Inuzuka.
Why? He may be adored by the people in Konoha because of his father, but to Kiba he's a plain loser. Though Naruto knew one day he'll make him change his views on him. And it's certain that he'll win it.
"You guys go. I'll just go train! Have fun on your mission Hinata." Naruto shot her a smile, making the dog-boy frown. Naruto walks away from the two Team Kurenai members and they jumped up.
Naruto walks down the road once again, alone. He felt bored, he had been training and asking the Third for a mission desperately. Though only very easy missions were given that they were just simple tasks to do in the village.
In his point of view, a mission is a mission when there's full of action. Although it is only achieved by experience, that's what Kakashi thinks. These rookies still don't have the guts to face real opponents outside the village.
Naruto sighed and walked back to his apartment, turning left and right from a few streets and he sees the familiar building. The sun-kissed blonde walked up on the staircase and started unlocking his door.
He was starting to feel sleepy after all the ramen he ate, and truth be told, he knew he didn't have the energy anymore to train and move around. Though he was gonna burn the food he ate by training.
The blonde removed his hitai'ate from his forehead and places it on top of the nightstand. He then ignores some trash he left on the floor of his unit and he starts to doze off peacefully.
SASUKE
After the meal he had with Sakura, he fulfilled his promise to walk her home. She had greeted him and he soon left for his house. It was starting to get dark so he figured going back home would be good.
'What could Kakashi be doing, right now?' He wondered to himself. There were still a lot of the citizens in Konoha shopping and roaming around the streets. Kids were playing, and he mentally cussed from the kids who keep bumping into him recklessly.
But he chose to ignore it, he wouldn't want to spoil his day over something little. He was craving for tomatoes even after their meal. And he did wonder, what could the dobe be doing at this hour?
As if the thought had crossed him, he forgot he needed to go to the Uchiha Compound and have his tomato. But he just needed to train with the dobe. He starts walking away from his usual path and starts heading for Naruto's apartment.
Once he was in front of his door, he knocked normally. "Naruto." He mumbled loud enough for him to let the guest enter. No response. "Naruto." He knocks again, nothing. There was a tinge of curiosity and worry but he just went out and jumped on the balcony railing, then towards his window.
He could see the blonde soundly sleeping on his own sheets, he scoffs. "Tired, eh?" Sasuke jumps back down and doesn't bother him any longer so he proceeds back to his home where he can have those juicy red tomatoes.
