Prologue
Paano nga ba mainlove ang isang gangster? Paulit-ulit ko 'yang iniisip. Sweet kaya sila? Humahaba ba ang pasensya nila? Maginoo kaya? Mabait? Seloso? Possessive na nakakakilig type? Maalalahanin? Nagiging corny? Malambing? Handang magbago para sa mahal niya?
Eh baka naman... Masungit? Tampuhin? Palasigaw? Possessive na nakakasakal? Madaling mainis? Sobrang seloso? Or worse sadista! Sadist Lover lang? At kahit kailan hinding-hindi magbabago para lang sa mahal niya, yung tipong, accept me for who I am or just fvcking leave me if you can't?
Hindi ko talaga alam.
May mainlove kaya saking gangster gaya nung sa mga movies at stories? (Sa ganda ko ba namang ito, baka nga.) Wag naman sana. Di ko yun makakaya.
Pero... paano nga kaya? What if? And... why not
Ano nga ba ang gangster para sakin?
Well, I hate every inch of them and I hate their existence at dahil diyan nakagawa ako ng listahan sa mga bagay na ayaw na ayaw ko sa isang gangster.

*Sixteen Things I hate about Gangsters*:
1. They act like as if they own everything! Like seriously?! May pa territory pa silang nalalaman! I mean paano mo masasabing iyo yang lote or place na yan? May titulo ba kayo? Tsaka lang ako maniniwala pag may titulo ka nang maisasampal sa maganda kong pagmumukha. (OO, MAGANDA AKO. MAY ANGAL KA?)
2. They dress weird. Yes they do. Ambabaduy promise! No offense, just telling the truth. Nagboboots! May baha kuya? Nagle-leather gloves! Nagle-leather jacket eh tirik na tirik yung araw! Yung totoo, gusto niyo bang matusta? Kaya ambabaho ng kilikili niyo e. Natatrap ang amoy at pawis, di tuloy makahinga si poor armpit.
3. They shout and they easily get mad at such small things. As in S-H-O-U-T! Need I spell out? Kung makasigaw akala mo bingi yung kausap e! pwede naman sanang makipag-usap ng maayos. And! They're so short-tempered! Why can't they keep their cool and lengthen their patience?! Just saying.
4. BULLIES! MEAN! They bully like, every people they meet lalo na kung feel nila mahina yung tao at takot sa kanila. Mean fvckers. I'd love to whack your balls ./.
5. They always get into trouble. ALWAYS. Parating napapabalitang nakikipagriot sa may kanto, gangfights ya know. Can't they stay cool for like 1 day and not get into fights? Pati mga teacher di na ginagalang kaya tuloy puro detention ang bagsak. (Yes, may detention kami. At sosyal yung detention room, AC, PLASMA TV, ARCADE.YES! Ganyan talaga pag mayaman. Mayaman ang school namin at tama ka, mayaman din tong mga gagong gangster nato. Mas malakas pa ang kapit kesa sa unggoy.)
6. WOMANIZER. Nahiya naman ako sa mga pagmumukha nitong mga 'to eh piling-pili lang naman yung mga may mukha talaga! At kahit naman gwapo ka, dapat nirerespeto mo yung mga babae. We're sensitive and are afraid to get hurt. We fall and get hurt so easily but the wound? It doesn't just fade away.
7. MAHAHABA AT MAY KULAY ANG BUHOK! NOT TO MENTION THE CRAZY HAIRCUTS! Sino ba naman kasi ang inspiration nila diyan? Mukha silang mga mannequin na nabuhay! Parang mga rainbow na tinubuan ng mukha't katawan! F4 sila?! F4?! BAWAL yan sa school pero pwede sa kanila! And why on earth would you cut your hair to look like some lunatic? Astig? Astig my ass! You're breaking the school's rules and you're making yourself more hideous! At bakit nag-aalburuto ako? Ang gusto ko lang naman ay magpahighlights ng konti pero kahit man lang yun ayaw akong payagan?! Eh sila pwede?! UNFAIR!
8. NOISY BIKES. I really don't know why they settle for those big noisy stupid and scary bikes. They're rich for calling out loud! Why not buy sports cars?! Para kahit papaano naman magkaron man lang sila ng taste! Gawd!
9. PIERCINGS AND TATTOO. Why on earth would you want to write or draw on your skin?! And why would you put earrings into places that they aren't supposed to be in?! WHY?!
10. THEY'RE HORNY! SLEAZEBALLS! Yes they are!! They're always hard! I don't want to elaborate anymore. If you want, try it but don't tell me I didn't warn you.
11. BUNCH OF IDIOTS! SARCASTIC CREATURES! Don't get me wrong but that's the way I see them.
12. PIGS! SMOKERS! AND DRUNKARDS! They eat like there's no tomorrow! Hinay-hinay naman mga kuya! Napaka mabisyo pa! Gusto atang mamatay ng maaga.
13. SWEARS A LOT. They cuss! Not that I don't cuss but sa kanila araw-araw! At nakakarindi yun! Ang sarap lagyan ng duct tape ang mga bunganga nila!
14. THEY CUT CLASSES, THEY SLEEP DURING CLASS. Again, walang mga respeto. What's new. Nagka-cut lang para makipag basag-ulo? Hellooooooo! Shunga kayo?!
15. ANG HILIG MANGHILA! Heeey! Sabihin niyo lang kung gusto niyo kaming sumama sa inyo! Di yung bigla-bigla kayong naghihila! Masakit kaya!
16. And lastly, GANGSTERS ARE HARD TO FORGET. Once you fall inlove with a gangster, there's no going back. When you fall for them, you fall hard. (Ewan ko kung ba't nasali 'to. Yun ang sabi-sabi nila and I have no idea why that's why I hate it.)

That was what I thought about gangsters. Mga walang magawa sa buhay, puro kabalbalan lang ang nalalaman. Mga pariwara. Panay bisyo. Di matino. Mga basagulero. Malilibog na tao. Mga walang galang sa kapwa. And the list goes on and on and on.
But I was wrong. Hell, I was right about them but things changed in a blink of an eye and so did my perception about them. And that, was because I met him.
I had only one rule when it comes to love, Never fall inlove with a gangster. But I broke that one rule. At napatunayan ko na totoo nga ang #16. For I kissed with a gangster. Shared dreams with a gangster. And fell inlove with a gangster.
Ngayon alam ko na kung papano magmahal ang isang gangster.
If you want to have a man who'll accept and love you for who you are, who'll kiss your tears away, who'll stay with you through thick and thin, who'll fight for you, who'll make you feel like the only girl in the world or the most precious stone in the earth, love a gangster because When A Gangster Falls Inlove, everything may fall apart but not his love for you. His feelings for you will never die, it will remain the same, even stronger.
