Back. I really wrote a lot last night didn't I? Oh yeah, speaking of last night, everything turned out fine. My parents stopped fighting when they heard me start crying. They said they'd save it for later so they wouldn't influence me badly. I wonder what Niko thinks about everything. Well.. He seems to be back to normal. He's reading again. He reads a lot. Almost as much as I think. School starts in just over a month. February 15th. We’re meant to be learning about that ‘Julius Ceasar’ guy or whatever his name is. That's the guy who came up with the calendar and months and stuff right? I don't even know. How did he, or whoever did it, come up with all the months anyway? Did they just decide one day “I think the time need to be split into big bits called years and then smaller bits called months and then smaller bits called days.” ? But then how did they keep track of when a day was over? Now that I think about it… That's probably how hours and minutes and seconds ect were made right? “Let's split up days into 24 parts so we know when the day is over and then split up those 24 parts into 60 smaller parts so we know whenever one of the 24 parts are over and then split the sixty parts into sixty even smaller parts so we know when one of the bigger sixty parts are over and we can keep track of the smaller sixty parts by counting on our fingers.” Sounds like it could work. Why would people go through so much effort though? I'd prefer it if time was just one big thing so you just had all the time in the world. Instead we have weeks and days which were probably just made so teachers could give us deadlines for homework. Ugh. My parents are calling for me to come have dinner now. I’ll write again tomorrow.
