A MEETING OF TWO WORLDS( PERCY AND HARRY)

The car door opened. The man on the driver's seat growled," What are you two kids doing outside your home on such a rainy and thundrous evening, huh?"

Percy felt like saying, enjoying the rains! its fun! wanna join us!? But then controlled himself. "Uh.. actually we were heading for Greenwich but then our cab got outta fuel and now we're here stuck in the middle of nowhere and completely drenched."

"Oooh poor children" said the woman with the horse teeth. "Couldn't we give them a lift Vernon?"

"I am certainly not going all the to Greenwich, no thankyou." The man growled and began closing the door when Annabeth interupted,

" Please, just let us spend the night at your house. Just the night. And we'll go back tomorrow without giving you any trouble." She pleaded.

"Uncle vernon, let them stay." said the boy with the the strange scar.

"YOU SHUT UP! No one wants your opinion. He snubbed the boy.

Percy had already started to hate this man. couldn't he allow them to stay for just one night? He thought.This was an awefull start to their holiday. If the man wouldn't keep them, they would hve to spend the night sleeping on the benchs, in the cold like two homeless kids. But just then the man said.

"Alright get in, but i do not want any trouble okay?" He opened the back door of the car.

"Thank you so much, sir" Annabeth's voice was full of greatfullness.

They both squeezed in. There was hardly any room in the car but it was okay with them. As long as they were getting a place to spend the night.

The fat boy in the back seat was eating a Bournville. Seeing him, made Percy's stomach rumble. He hadn't eaten anything since afternoon and all the energy had drained out of him.

"So where are your your parents?" asked the woman.

"Uhh.....they're in Greenwich we were heading towards them only" replied Percy.

"Such irresponsible parents...leaving two sixteen year olds alone in the street!" muttered the man called Vernon. "Wait a minute....why did they leave you here anyway?

Percy and Annabeth exchanged looks. This man was not going to be fooled easily.

"Umm.....they had some official work...so....Annabeth hesistated.

"Doesn't matter....well here we are. Now get out of the car." The man grumbled.

Percy saw a board saying: PRIVET DRIVE. They got out of the car and followed the family into a house, numbered 4. It was perfectly clean with perfectly presented gardens. The living room had a boared up fireplace with an electric fire. It was just like any other living room and gave a warm and cozy feeling,

"Harry! come on and lay the plates on the table. Everyone's hungry.

Percy got the feeling that this boy, Harry was the servant. But he had called the man, uncle.....

Never mind Percy thought  i don't care what he is. I just want food!. He held Annabeth's hand and said. "Don't worry Annabeth. Just forget that this day was ever included in our holiday. I promise that i'll make the rest of the days the best in your life"

"I hope so perce......i really hope so!!
