Jess's POV

Well, today has been a crazy day, currently, I'm still walking with Mum. We managed to get off the yacht without encountering anyone, the last thing I need is to be questioned on my whereabouts all day.

I swear to myself and Mum that I am not going to touch another drink on this trip, she know if I do it will be too late, but it's too late anyway. The island is peaceful, I'm trying my best to enjoy Mum's company as best as possible. After walking for a while we began to talk. She said she would get a private counsellor out here to see the both of us, somethings telling me she hasn't been in a good state of mind either. I haven't started cutting yet, the only marks on my body are scars. So far I was winning against the voices, winning the war that had once again started. In my head.

...

We walked back just before the sun completely set. The sky was a deep red with pockets of white and pink feathers where the clouds lye. Looking at my watch I realised we were gone just over an hour. Mum and I made a plan up to say we had been out on a walk all day because the only other person she had saw was Angelo and Simon, she got them both in on the plan. Knowing that, we both comfortably walk out on to the deck using the main entrance. I instantly knew something wasn't right, who am I kidding something was always wrong.

I heard loud screams, it was a mix of Laura, Cameron, Chloe and the somewhat irregular muffled screams of Alex. Shit.

Voices rise in my head telling me this is my time. My opportunity. Make it seem accidental even though I really wanted it. Drinking sometimes makes them louder but right now, completely sober, they are louder than ever.

Go join her it's not like anyone will care.

You can't deny how long you've wanted this.

You can end this all.

They don't even want you here.

They only reason you got adopted is because they felt sorry for you.

Your adopted.

Adele's POV

Jess collapsed to her knees, tears violently left her eyes as she grabbed her head.

"No, no, stop just please, STOP" something tells me she didn't mean to say that aloud by the look she gave me when everyone stopped.

She staggered to her feet and ran towards the edge.

I heard a whisper exit Jess's mouth the whisper I'd never thought I'd ever hear.

"This is it..."

She looked back at me seeing the tears run off my face at a speed I didn't even know possible. By now I didn't even realise Alex was out of the water safely on her own two feet. Jess still wasn't back, I began to worry even more. I ran to Jess's room almost positive that was where she'd be. I launched myself at the door handle it was locked. I felt my pockets for my spare key, only to realised I had left it in my room.

"Delly, babe? What is all the commotion about?", his voice breathy and sincere in every word that left his mouth.

"SIMON now is REALLY not the time to babe me!" I became increasingly impatient of the whereabouts of this key.

"Honey give me a hug and tell me what's wrong". He jumped if the bed and pulled me into a tight embrace.

"SIMON CHRISTOPHER KONECKI GET YOUR HAND OFF OF ME, I DON'T HAVE THE TIME FOR THIS SHIT OF YOURS" I wriggle out if his embrace and find the key next to the box of tissues.
