Chapter 16

JJ's POV

I laugh. "Ok now tell the truth" I smirk.

Joe looks at us. He's serious. They're actually serious!

"No way!" Rachel gagasps you have to be joking.

"That's it. I'm finding Paul" Lily says.

"No please don't!" George pleads. Scarlet suddenly skips up to us, bags swinging.

"Guess what I go-" she stops in her tracks staring open mouthed at the boys.

"Scarlet you might not remember them but this is Sam, Luke, Joe, George, Harvey, Harry and Ioan" I explain. She nods still speechless.

"Umm Lily.." Sam coughs.

"Hm?" Lily asks.

"Will you go out with me again"

"Uh Sam. Are you BLIND?!" She raises her eyebrow.

"Oh yeah...stupid Harry Styles" he mumbles.

"WHAT did you just say?" Lily takes a step foreword,"First in the country, Judo, and Olympic competitor. And you dare say that about my boyfriend"

Suddenly, as if on cue, Harry,Niall, Louis, Zayn and Liam stumble through the doors. Niall spots us and waves, Rachel waving back, while the others look curiously at the boys who stand before us. When they approach I introduce them.

"Who are they?" Louis asks.

"One Direction meet Sam, Harry, Ioan, Harvey, Joe, George and Luke" I say for the 3rd time. They shake hands, Harry glaring suspiciously at Sam.

"My ex's.." Lily says plainly.

"Wait what?!" Harry looks at her with wide eyes before looking at Rachel and me. I nod and Rachel holds back a laugh.

"Umm there's something I gotta tell you Lily..." I bite my lip. She tears her glare away from Sam to look at me,"I..umm..I.."

"Don't do that! I taught you to!" Lily frowns.

"Um Luke is kinda my cousin" I say.

"WHAAAATTT!" She screams staring from me to Luke and back again,"IVE BEEN OUT WITH MY FRIENDS COUSIN?!" Me and Luke look at the floor sheepishly.

"Yesss" Luke says carefully.

"14 years." I nod,"and you never bothered to tell me this"

"Look is this really important right now?!" George asks "I thought this was about you and Sam!"

"Fine.." Lily agrees turning back to a silent Sam.

"Lily can we please settle this over Nando's?" Rachel pleads.

"YES YES! I mean, um, good choice Rachel..." Niall mutters, embarrassed. We look at him smirking before going back to Lily.

"No! I want it sorted here" she says plainly. I groan.

"Fine were leaving you two to sort it out while we're getting Nandos! Laters!" I wave before walking to the direction of Niall's favourite restaurant.

"Harry, babe don't worry" Lily smiles at a worried Harry pecking him on the lips. Harvey calls back.

"C'mon! Lets go!"

Lily's POV

"So-o should we take a walk?" Sam asks me.

"Sure" I shrug.

"Look I've seen how much you love Harry. But most of what I know is from the papers. And the papers are pretty hard to believe!"

I laugh "I understand that" I smile "they spout a lotta rubbish sometimes"

We walk in silence for a while.

"I haven't seen you since you broke up with my for the third time when we were 14" Sam says quietly. I bit my lip, looking at the floor.

"It has been 4 years" I say looking up. He nods looking ahead.

"I missed you. When you broke up with me...I well..I told myself never to go out with someone again"

I look at him surprised,"Sam you shouldn't do that because of me.."

"I know but you were the only person I really loved. And now were 18...the whole Phoebe thing was to make Harry (MB NOT styles) jealous"

I smile again not saying anything.

"We should get back. I'm starving!" I laugh and he agrees.

"Sure!" We walk back recalling memories.
