Chapter 22

Rachel's POV

JJ got up and shoved past me, Zayn and Louis.

"JJ!" Louis yells after her but his answer is just the slam of the front door. He immediately starts freaking out.

"What if she gets hurt? She's in such a blind fury that she could get hit by a car? Kidnapped? MURDERED?!" Louis goes on, his voice rising with every word.

"Louis calm down" Sam tells him.

"But-"

"Calm"

"But she could b-"

"CALM DOWN!" The room falls silent.

"Well instead of standing here arguing about it; WHY DONT WE GO AFTER HER?" I break the silence with my frustration,"ITS NOT ROCKET SCIENCE!" They all stare at me. Niall comes to my side and squeezes by waist.

"Rachel's right. JJ could already be hurt in the time we've wasted" He says in his soft Irish accent.

"HURT? ALREADY?" Louis gasps only picking up on the negative words.

"That's it" Joe says taking Louis' sleeve and pulling him out. Lily picks up her car keys.

"Im going!" She announces. I volunteer as well and by a few minutes Zayn, Lily, Luke and I are going.

"The rest of you stay and wait for Paul so he can sort out the paps" Zayn says looking at the rest of them. Lily and I make our way outside and into the car. Zayn finally stops setting rules for everyone and follows Luke out. We agreed Luke should come since he was JJ's cousin and only real family here right now.

"Start the car! We've wasted so much time! Plus the paps are gaining on us!" Lily yells at me, pointing out the huge mob of paps that are running towards us. Im surprised they didnt go after JJ.

"Jesus calm down!" I retort sticking the key in the ignition and back out of the drive way. The car is completely silent and we're all looking desperatly out of the windows. After 20 minutes shes still no where to be seen. Each of us have sent about a dozen texts and voice mails.

"Luke where would the first place she would go if she was upset as a kid?" Zayn asks, turning to Luke. Luke thinks for a while before his face brightens with an idea where his cousin would be. I stop the car sending everyone careering forward. Zayn hits his head on the dashboard groaning.

"Oh my God im so sorry" I say quickly, "Are you okay?" Zayn nods in response. rubbing his head.

"Let's just focus on JJ"

"LUKE TELL US WHERE SHE WOULD BE!" Lily screams at Luke. She's completely losing it and would Judo throw out of the car any minute. I hang on to her shoulder just in case.

"The Laurandrette. There was always something about the place JJ loved" Luke replies as I start up the engine once again and speed off in the direction.
