III: Arrival

Wisp started the yacht and you two were off. The hem of your shirt blazed softly with the gusts of wind plowing through. Your father had dockers in Cape Caem ready to dock the boat any time.

You wanted to head to Hammerhead first to get an idea of where Noctis is and to gather intel about the area. You also need to help him exchange some currency from Insomnia to gil. Altissia used gil so you were fine.

Memories played in you head as Wisp made the boat zoom pass the buildings with you going inside the upper deck cabin. The memory of your first meeting played in your mind like in a movie house, the place dimming as if your mind wanted you to only think about the more as you lay down.

~Flashback~
3rd POV

"Go on Y/N, no need to be shy."
King Natus sighed at his daughter's behavior of kindness towards the guests. He has been on a wild goose chase the whole morning searching for his daughter to make a representable presentation for the King of Lucis and his prince. The prince looked embarrassingly towards the girl, then back to his father. He too, like Y/N, hid behind his father's tall legs. They were only mere six year olds with anti-social capabilities, so how else would they react. The kings only smiled at their heir and heiress's reactions.
"Come on Noctis. You have to be a big boy and greet Princess Y/N first like a gentleman."
King Regis patted his son towards her, trying to encourage his young one to finally break from his shell. The young prince held out his right hand and the princess stalked away from her father's behind to accept it. They embarrassingly shook hands. The Prince's hands were soft like creamed butter. Unlike the Princess's. Hers were rough, rough from training to be a grand warrior of the kingdom and the successful queen. Prince Noctis set his eyes on the sword buckled to Princess Y/N's waist, the once flustered prince soon was then the grand curious prince.
"Is that a sword?"
"Y-yeah."
The princess un-sheathed the metallic blade and showed it to the heir. His fingers grazed the metal and material, retracting his hand when he touched a freezing blue gem on the sword.
"Sorry. That's the Gem of Shiva. It is said that only the L/N family can use it unless your hand will freeze."
"That's cool!"
The princess smiled and grabbed the boy's hand.
"Come. I will give you a tour."
He was dragged along as she sprinted through the halls and sliding her sword back in.

They never faltered to notice that their father's were smiling at them.

2nd POV

"Y/N, we're here." Wisp shook you uncontrollably as you snapped out of your little moment. You stared at the surroundings, noticing that yes, you were at your wanted destination. "Oh! Okay."

Wisp went down to retrieve the truck with the chocobos and you padded down the steps to reach the familiar dockers.

"Good morning, Princess Y/N."

"No need for the 'princess', Lily. Dock the boat and we'll be off soon."

"Of course."

You checked your phone for the time, which it was conveniently 1:00 exact. Hammerhead was around a seven minute drive in the dark, but Wisp could handle it. Spirits don't usually sleep and if they do, it's for minimal power restoration.
