You sighed inwardly as Dino finished his talk with Noctis about there being no boats here as of now. Wisp could always drive the Fencer, although King Natus ordered the boat to be sealed off once you and Wisp arrived. Clearly, he knew exactly that the group would use it and you would have to put way more effort into that. Cloud used to say that your father was a mind reader, skimming through people's brains like they're all just open books.

Currently, you were at the docks right outside of the restaurant/resort standing next to Noctis and friends.(A/N: NOCTIS IS A DINOSAUR FROM YOUR IMAGINATION) The sun beated down on all of you like you were being grilled, ready for Ifrit to eat. For sure the outfits all of you were were thin, but the heat seeped through like water.

Prompto fanned himself for a bit before returning to running around the docks, snapping a few pictures here and there. Ignis seemed to have started to observe the water below, taking in all of the scenic fish and palm trees. Gladiolus walked around for a bit, before returning back to the bar to decide on what to eat and suggest for Ignis. Noctis left the albino and went to the Regalia to check on something. Wisp, was again gone to go see Dionysus, the head Goddess of Nature. Finally, Cloud went on to go get a massage.

You were all alone with Iggy on your right shoulder, aware of the injury on the left arm. With quick steps, you ambled to one of the hotel rooms, renting one. The bags were in the truck, but a bed was all that was needed at once. The fluffy, white mattress supported all of your weight as you tumbled down.

The room was quite simple for the price. There was the bed with two modernly decorated nightstands beside it, a desk was positioned in the left corner of the room with a lamp sitting on it, and a comfortable looking cushioned love seat was set off to the opposing side of the desk.

Everything seemed so in place, even the transparent glass windows was soothing. The isolated island off in the distance, Angelgard. As a kid, Natus told many stories of the islet. Of how it would imprison people, and how Bahamut would stay there.

Out of nowhere, a splitting headache made its way. Your brain stung vigorously and a scene played in your head.

"This is it... My vengeance ag-"

The vision was blurry, with you only seeing the fuchsia haired man you met today. His voice stuttered like a broken player.

"2,000 y-y-years... And here l-li-lies the Altissian Pri-pri-princess."

You clutched your head in pain and sat up quickly. Your eyes opened and had tears brimming it. Inside the scene was a rubble left Insomnia with the sky dark, dark as dark can be. The citadel stood high and undamaged, as if Ardyn had never touched it as he was displayed under your trembling form in the dream like state.

Wisp opened the door and saw you, running to your side and wiping your tears away with her sleeve. You sniffed and sat up straight, cross legged and told Wisp about the headache.

"A-Ardyn was in front of me... In Insomnia. But it was left in ruins! And Noctis, or Prompto, or Ignis, or Gladio, Cloud, n-not even you..." Your voice drifted off with sadness laced in your voice.

"Sh... It's okay... Everyone will always be with you, especially me." Wisp patted your back in comfort and kneeled on the bed to hug you. A warm and safe feeling grew in the room, leaving the monochrome darkness left upon it with a fuzzy 'ploop!'

The tears stopped coming, as if it were magic. Your left arm had a glowing green dust ball around it. A screech rang through and you tried to move around the bed, although to no avail once it started to follow you around. Wisp gasped and noticed it was actually healing your arm.
