V: Meeting Cloud Strife

The pool soothed all of you, which it was actually mixed with soap and all you needed in it was shampoo(with optional conditioner, of course). Noctis was first to get out, with his pale glory. Coming in next was you, for your skin started to prune which was utterly nasty to you.

Prompto came next, then Gladio. The pool disappeared and Prompto whimpered in disbelief. The prince only shrugged and changed into casual clothing, fit for lazing around in the tent. Everyone did the same.

Instead of eating a good meal, the afternoon was filled with chips and idiotic gestures.

"Uh-uh a pig!" Gladiolus called out. Right now, the group was playing Charades, with Ignis trying to imitate a three letter word. He pointed out to Gladiolus, giving the buff man a point.

"Yeah!" His gruff voice seemed to ring throughout the whole world.

You piped up from a spare lawn chair and decided to speak.

"Come on guys. We have to get to Galdin Quay to board a boat." The boys quieted down with Ignis agreeing.

"Indeed. We must get to Altissia as soon as possible with the least amount of time for Noctis to be wed." The adviser pushed up his spectacles on his nose.

Noctis stood and walked to the tent, most likely to have a nap. His icy blue eyes seemed to have grazed your own as he walked by. Prompto also took a stand, stretching after he took a bag of chips and positioned his lawn chair close to the tables.

You sighed and headed for your own tent, zipping the flap up before any bugs barge in to play a board game. The tent Wisp brought was probably the most luxurious one in Eos.

The primary shape of it was a dome, with the opening sticking out. An optional star gazing net was set up to stick out of the dome with blinds. It was actually really easy to pack and assemble (Wisp just needs to do some magic). Without it being assembled, it was portable and small to fit in the trunk of the truck.

Two sleeping bags were set up in a 'corner' even with Wisp resting in the realm of the unexpected. Iggy's basket bed was positioned in between yours and Wisp's sleeping bags. Your suitcases and chocobo baskets were off to the side while papers and other stuff we're scattered in the star gazing center.

You flopped onto your cot, taking out your phone as you scratch your head.

'3 missed calls from Cloud ☁'

"This guy seriously needs to stop calling me," You muttered with a long croaking sigh escaping your lips. You tapped the 'call back' button and minimal ringing was heard before the former SOLDIER picked up.

"Why didn't you answer my calls?! I was worried!"

"Look daddy Strife, I'm not a kid. So either you deal with it, or you deal with it."

"I thought you died!" Cloud's worried voice killed your ears.

"Stop doubting me already. You already doubt yourself way too much." There was a sudden pause in his voice.

"You're right. But anyways. How are you?"

"I'm fine. Although my arm getting chewed by a Sabertusk, not so much."

"You what?! I told you to be careful! Are they treating you right? I bet they're not after you got your arm chewed! I swear I will come all the way from Midgar just t-"

"I am fine Cloud. They are not mistreating me nor Wisp."

"Right.. but I'm coming anyways!"
