Nialls Pov:

I hastily kicked my shoes off by the door and stumbled into kitchen to feed my alcohol craving with a cool beer from the fridge. Jogging over to the sofa I lazily sprawled across it and flicked open the drink. Letting out a breath of relief as my lips detached themselves from the metal of the can, I adjusted myself on the sofa to an even more comfortable position than before.

I had just gotten home from a 12 month tour and honestly I couldn’t be more tired but the thought of seeing Anna in an hour kept me fully awake. Excitement rushed over me as I took another swig of the beer that I had been wanting to get in my system since the morning!

Just as I convinced myself that a little nap wouldn’t do anyone no harm I heard some footsteps approaching me from behind, whipping my head back, the astonishment was vivid on my face and my eyes met Harry and Pauls.

“What are you guys doing here?” I gulped.

Paul sniggered before harshly answering,

“Don’t you remember rule number 7 in the contract?”

7. Betray her and break her heart.

“No” I lied.

How could I forget the piece of paper that determined how long my girlfriend was going to live?

Harry laughed as he reached for his back pocket and pulled out a few papers. He cleared his throat and read it out.

“Number seven, betray her and break her heart”

I lowered my head in shame and listened to the shuffling happening in the room. After a good few minutes I raised my head again only to be met with a pair of foreign blue eyes. They shone in the dim light deviously. I eyed the blonde who was now standing in my living room. She wore tight red dresses which in no doubt stuck to her like a wrapper on cheese string.

Classy.

I sniggered at my own joke before wearing my stern expression again that confronted the girl.

Her dirty blonde hair was straightened and reached just below her shoulders and she wore an evident smirk as if she had been waiting for this moment her whole life.

An uneasy feeling made me squirm in my seat as I looked from face to face for an explanation to why they were here.

As if Paul had been reading my thoughts he cut through the tension that had started build in the air and simply stated the horrific fact.

“This is Alice, the girl you will cheat on Anna with”

My eyes widened with shock momentarily before I quickly stood up

“Who said I was going to cheat on Anna?”

I grinned in accomplishment as Paul sneered at me. But that pride was soon flushed down the drain as Paul reached out and took out the metal object that could take your life away in a split second.

He held the gun in an arms distance from my forehead. Sweat clammed my thoughts not allowing me to think straight.

“Sofa. Now”

I abided by Paul and slowly seated myself on the leather sofa. He moved closer and pressed the tip of the gun into my temple. Tilting his head slightly his daunting eyes travelled from me to Alice and back.

Feeling the other end of the sofa sink a bit I snapped my head to the side to see Alice extending her long pale legs so they were neatly placed in my lap. She popped some gum I hadn’t noticed she was chewing and grinned like a child. Sending her a dirty look I tensed my muscles as Paul moved a step back so Alice could get up and straddle my waist completely.
