Greyson Above
I started at Weston across the dinner table as he shoved a piece of chicken into his mouth. I glared at him as he gave me a cocky smile.
"So Dad, Kaylee has something to tell you." Weston says looking away from my glare towards my dad. My glare hardened on him.
"Yeah, Kaylee. Dont you have something to tell Dad." Bryson says ganging up on me.
"Why do you guys always gang up on me?" I say slamming down my fork before standing up from the table and walking towards the stairs.
"Because maybe you need to tell dad that you caugh-" A slap echoes through the house making Bryson's voice suddenly stop. "Ow you asshole." He yells out then a huge crash was heard, he must of tackled one of our siblings.
"George do something." Mom yells at dad. I slowly walk back into the dining room. Bryson had Greyson in a headlock on the dining room floor as Greyson was slowing turning a dark red.
"Greyson, twist out of it. Kick your legs and pull out of it." Dad yells at Greyson. Mom turns to dad with a shocked look on her face. "Not now babycakes. I gotta tell Greyson how to stay alive, i mean i did teach Bryson all I know."
"Ow Grey, what the hell" Bryson yells as Greyson slips out of his hold and runs towards me. He hides behind me as Bryson gets up off the floor holding his now bleeding hand.
"He's gonna kill you." I say softly to Greyson.
He smiles softly at me before hugging me. "I had to protect you." He says hugging me closer to his chest while resting his head on top of mine. Even though hes 2 years younger than me, hes way taller.
"So what was it Kaylee?" Dad asks bringing me back to reality.
"Um, just that Brandon Wilson called me his princess and that his brother was the one that attacked me" i say. Dad's mouth fell open as if he was speechless.
My mothers gasp was the only thing that broke the silence. Her fork suddenly dropped from her hand. "That Wilson boy?" Mom suddenly asks. I nod my head slowly looking confused. "Dear, this could be our way to finally take down that good for nothing gang."
My dad turns and looks at her with a smile. "You're right dear." He says looking back at us.
"No. Absolutely not. She's not gonna officiate herself with that eastside druggie. My little sister isnt gonna get involved with them. I'd rather her date my best friend Carson before she ever got into a relationship with the Eastside Druggie." Bryson yells before i could comment while glaring at my father only to get a glare back.
The sound of the door bell broke the sudden glaring contest causing Bryson to huff and walk towards the front door. "Um. Kaylee. Come here." I roll my eyes and cross my arms while walking to the door.
"I have a flower delivery for a Mrs. Princess." A familiar voice says. Suddenly the flowers move showing a familiar face.
"Ah. Carson." I squeal as he puts the flowers down on the front porch before opening up his arms for a hug. I jump into his arms and give him a hug.
Carson has always been here for me. Apart from him being in my brothers gang and a huge player, he's still my best friend.
"Royals" Bryson said getting Carson's attention. "What's the sitch?" He asks. Carson nodded and let me go clearing his throat.
"He doesn't seem to be planning anything. Since the diner hes distanced himself from everyone except family especially a little girl named Molly." Carson says all serious.
Bryson nods with his hand on his chin thinking. "Im not taking any chances. Grab the girl and bring her here. Keep an eye on Wilson too. Update constantly." Bryson says surprising me.
He wants to kidnap an innocent little girl. "Bryson, are you joking? Kidnap the little girl? That's a death wish." I snap at Bryson after Carson leaves. Bryson looks at me and glares.
"We wouldn't be in this mess if you would of stayed away like you were told." He snaps making me flinch. Tears cloud my eyes and his eyes soften realizing his mistake. "Omg. Kaylee, im so-" he says coming towards me.
I put my hand out stopping him from coming any closer. "Stay away from me Bryson." I say steppinh back.
"Hey guys, mom wan-" Westons voices stops mid sentence. "Bryson, what did you do?" He grits out stepping into my line of vision facing Bryson.
"I didnt mean to. Kaylee please listen to me, it was an accident." Bryson says as a tear falls down my face. I quickly wipe it before turning up the stairs to my room. I slam the door shut and lean up against me holding my head.
Memories of those months flooded my mind. I let out a scream. "PRINCESS" Dads voice yells out.
"Shut up you bitch" the guy slapped my again. "You're gonna pay for your daddy's mistakes" The guy grabbed a knife off of the table and walked back towards me slowly with a vulgar smile on his face.
I squirm trying to loosen the ropes. "Sit still baby girl or this will hurt alot not than its supposed too. Oh wait its gonna hurt alot already." The man says before slamming the knife into my leg as gunshots rang into the air.
"Kaylee. Open the door." Westons voice asks softly.
"Kaylee. Move out of the way. Im breaking this door down. Cover your head princess." Dad yells. I slid out of the door frame and cover my head.
"George Jackson, if you break down that door. We are gonna have to move her room again. Stop breaking the door." Mom yells at dad. Hes had to break about 3 doors because of this.
"Kaylee. Sis, please. Open up the door, nobodies gonna hurt you again. I promise." Dylan's voice calmly explains. My breathing slowed down enough for me to reach up and unlock the door. The door pushes open and my brothers come running into the room.
Bryson gathers me into his arm and sits on the bed with me on his lap. "Shhh its gonna be okay, im sorry. Im so so so sorry. I shouldnt have snapped at you. God im so stupid. Im so sorry Twinny. Nobodies gonna hurt you." Bryson says softly into my ear rocking us back and forth. "I told you that i was gonna protect you. Nobodies gonna hurt you Kayls."
"Nobodies gonna hurt you ever again. Ill make sure of that." Bryson's voice was the last thing i heard before falling asleep in his arms.
