The rest of first year flew by.
After the week of detention, I never spoke to Malfoy again.
Alex and I became closer. (Every weekend we update his playlist with more Taylor Swift songs). Till now, Gryffindor is winning the house cup. Last week, Cariba earned 50 points for Gryffindor making and essay for Professor Longbottom about:
THE DEVIL SNARE
and we've won all the Quidditch matches thanks to our fabulous, beaters James and Fred.
Erin is becoming less shy by the time and Alice remains the same.
The Halloween party was awesome, Alex, Alice and I ate candies all the night but the next day we had to go with Madame Pomfrey because of stomach ache.
October was fun, then winter started and in a blink of an eye Christmas was here.
I invited all my friends to the Burrow to celebrate Christmas, but Alice was the only one who could. Cariba had already planned her vacations and Erin was going to spend Christmas with her uncles
I thought vacations were going to be the best but I was wrong. The only person who could spoil my favourite holiday stood at the Burrow's door on December 25th.
Flashback:
It was a cold afternoon at the Burrow, I was in my dad's old bedroom talking with Alice about boys. (That day she confessed me that she had a crush on a certain Potter boy). We were laughing and eating pumpkin pastry that Nanny Molly made last night. When suddenly we heard someone knocking the door. I thought It was Uncle Percy but apparently, I was wrong.
That silver eyes that make me squirm every time I see them, were there staring at the living room.
A platinum blonde man appeared next to the little ferret, it was Draco Malfoy of course. My dad was ready to kick both ferrets out of the house, but my mother hit him on the shoulder with one of her books. Unfortunately, uncle Harry appeared and receive the Malfoys.
After patting his son's shoulder, Mr. Malfoy excused himself and left, leaving a shy Scorpius in the living room.
For the first time in this whole year I saw that ferret being vulnerable.
And that made me smile.
The rest of the holidays were a nightmare, Malfoy stayed for almost a week at the Burrow. Alice left the next day after Scorpius arrived, so I stayed alone the rest of the vacations. James, Fred and Dominique were at Weasley Wizards wheezes, Lily and Hugo were making cookies with Nanny Molly, Victoire and Teddy were always snogging who knows where, Roxanne and Louis were looking for gnomes and Albus was playing wizard's chess with Scorpius. They invited me to play, but honestly, I was not in the mood for playing.
My mum knows me very well, as seeing my face she knew that something was wrong. So, she proposed a shopping time in the muggle world. She wanted me to buy me a skirt but I preferred a plaid blouse that looked like the shirts Albus and James use, however my mum bought the skirt. As I said before she knows me quite well (one of my favourite styles are the skirts with converse). My mother was so excited about this mother-daughter time that she even bought me makeup. (but somehow my father managed to throw it to the trash).
End of the flashback...
Although Malfoy ruined part of my vacations my mom and my grandma's desserts made me smile.
Both are the best!
I was really excited about seeing my best friends after two weeks. I wrote letters to Erin and Cariba. Erin never responded but Cariba, she sent me a picture of her vacations in Romania with dragons. Officially She IS my uncle Charlie lost daughter.
